I really like Headspace but...

I really wish they would go back to having sessions that are less than 10 mins. 7.5 mins feels like the best amount of time for me at least to get what I need. 10 mins feels too long sometimes.

This app changed my life within the first 2 weeks of using it, and has done a wonderful job of training my mind on how to perceive stimulus differently and how to better focus on what’s important.

I find this very relaxing and helpful when trying to sleep, but my only complaint is that you have to pay to unlock most of the app and when you do, the “special” stress or anger or motivation meditations are all the same thing for 9 of the ten minutes and then one small piece of advice at the end, that is usually pretty obvious. So yes, I recommend this app, but not a subscription becuase you won’t get what it seems like you will


Great but content doesn’t vary enough

Love this app and the voice of the speaker. I subscribed after a few free sessions and noticed that most of the content sounds the same except a few sentences at the beginning to set an intention. Otherwise it seems like most of the speaker’s guidance is the same across sessions with very few variances. Worth having the free version but not worth the subscription. I’d love to see more in depth meditative guidance around a particularly subject rather than just the initial intention.


having trouble falling asleep use this app.

I had a handled time falling asleep at night but when I started using this app it helped a lot. Although I don’t uses it properly it makes me fall asleep so I like it !

I have never really meditated before. This app is great for beginners and people with limited time. You set how long you want to meditate. Many of them can be set to 3 minutes. This makes it reasonable to fit into a busy day.

Reacquainted with meditation

I used to meditate in the 60s and the 70s but stopped When I got married and had kids along with a business and full time college teaching position. Now nearing retirement and its associated life changes, I started again with Headspace. It was a perfect match. The guided sessions are very good and the choice of topics are very diverse. Glad to be back in my own head, thanks Headspace!


A must have for college students

I used the free version of headspace during one of the most stressful years of college I’ve ever had. Headspace is amazing for students who are always stressed. It really teaches me how to center myself and relax my body. My only complaint is that it’s too expensive. I’m a poor college student and this is a lot to pay for even per month. If there was some sort of cheap student deal (like Netflix, Hulu, or Spotify), I’d be glad to pay for their full service. Well done. Also, maybe have a scrubbing bar or +/- 15sec at the bottom. It makes the sessions easier to navigate.
