Needs updating

This site/app needs updating. Sold out items continue to appear long after they’ve sold out. They need to be removed. It’s a waste of time to leave them on the site. Items that are no longer available need to be taken down.....since customers have to pay as soon as they purchase rather than waiting until items ship..... If the site were more accurate and precise, then paying for items at point of purchase wouldn’t be so bad. But paying at point of purchase, then having to wait sometimes two or three weeks, just to find out the item is no longer available is somewhat criminal to hold the money for that long just to find that out. Customers are having to pay interest on that money while nordstrom/HauteLook is making interest on that money,.....all the while the customer, in the end.......gets nothing. Really bad customer relations/service that needs to be addressed.

I love Nordstrom, and Rack/HauteLook, but too many glitches that aren’t properly fixed, which makes me not want to purchase.

I’ve had 7 items cancelled with in the last month, one of the items is still live on their website??? They are going to claim inventory shortages but I shop in the middle of the night when they’re volume is probably at its lowest (2-3am central). I think they either have inventory problems that are out of control, employee are stealing or they’re selling merchandise (as lost leaders) that they simple don’t have to sell (which might be considered fraud). I can’t imagine why I’d bother spending my time looking for items I’ll order and never receive. Recently I started price checking and found better discounts on other sites.

My last 3 shipments have been thru FedEx. I live in Memphis and the main hub is here in Memphis. But they cannot seem to make good on their deliveries. The last 2 times they kept saying no delivery attempt made, will deliver next business day. Same exact thing next business day. AND all of this was at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Just got off the phone after holding a hour and 45 minutes, just told be told by the supervisor,Torie, there was nothing that could be done. Basically the luck of the draw as to which shipper would be used. No help at all, told her maybe I should rethink shopping Nordstrom and her reply was well is there anything else I can help you with? To which I responded you have not helped me at all. I then hung up the phone.

The HauteLook Nordstrom app worked well up until a month ago. The favorite items disappear and when you log out and log in to see if the app resets it used to work but that stopped too a week ago. When you call their member care service it takes approximately an hour to talk to someone so they can fix the issue which unfortunately they were not able to. I hope they start doing better. It would be a shame if they start loosing customers for app glitches.
