Not working!-update!

Al Koholic

App stopped working after latest update. Working again. Restarted phone and iPad not sure who’s end the problem was. Sorry

UX is untenable. C-Sec untenable. Solid op impossible.

The summary title says it all. UX is atrocious, I hate using it - when it works - which is 15% of the time it’s supposed to. Too hackable, and this is an indoor home spherical camera, more of your personal intimate lives on who knows whose servers for what reasons. For the glaring lack of troubleshooting or technical docs, the ill-designed reset procedures will only let you dig yourself into deeper malfunctions and way longer lead times for tier 2-3 tech support help (don’t be insane like me and keep trying to solve the chingadera despite clear patterned feedback loops proving impossible operation without proprietary level 3 Apps Engineering collection server corrections. I give up. I heard Wyze cams are $25, $35 for a motorized gyro version. Files from a hempispherical camera are unusable outside of the GZ app, so maybe stick to common usable aspect ratios and stop beating (my) head against this kludgy contraption. IMHO. It’s all fixable with UX prioritized sprint cycling and scrum attention.

Horrible just horrible

so you dont like bad reviews

I attempted to change the password for the device because it kept clicking like it was being accessed. Thinking it was compromised, I contacted customer support, many times. They ignored every request I made to change my password until I threatened to get rid of the camera completely then they sent me my password. I know my password, that was not my request at all. I checked the BBB and wouldn’t you know, an F rating. Loads of complaints against this company. Needless to say Guardzilla left my home and will not return. I would give zero stars if possible.

Trash!

This camera has been unreliable from the beginning. Either it doesn’t notify us, doesn’t record, won’t connect to our WiFi. It’s pure trash!

Doesn’t work, support is awful.

My guardzilla 360 stopped recording videos months ago. Support told me they are aware working on it. Atleast I could still use the live view option when I needed to keep an eye on things and take snapshots. Then 2 days ago, it prompted me for an update, went through it in the app, and the camera is now broken, flashing blinking red. Won’t even reset and still blinks red after power cycling. Support says they’re available certain hours for chat and they are not. Email responses from them are general guides to reset and power cycle which isn’t working. Going to have to find a new camera. Mine goes for 200$. Not worth it at all.

Guardzilla.

No, these guys are right. I bought two, one worked great for about six months, then stopped. Had my son look at it, after 45 min. He got it working, that lasted 4 days and went back to not working again. So I had a new one in the box, got it going and lasted 4 days. Now it’s doing same as the first one. Have good WI-FI HERE, just junk cameras. I threw the first one in the burn barrel, will do same for the second. I bought a ARLO, now that’s impressing me. Better rated to. Wish I bought Arlo at first, I wasted $200.00 bucks on this junk Guardzilla crap.

It does not notify me when there is motion in the house whether it is on auto arm or not. Why is this ?

Bought the Guardzilla GZ521W model at Best Buy it worked for about 3 months then quit working. Reset button won’t work. No on line searches address this model for trouble shooting and good luck getting the company to respond or to get through to their help line and actually get help.
