The fact that the whole point is to always have a back up, and this doesn’t do that and doesn’t make it clear that it doesn’t do that but actually says the opposite. You literally caused hundreds of thousands of people to not only lose their assets but lose their entire life’s worth of data because they thought this was a real authenticator app but when you lose your phone your entire identity is lost with it. SCAM SCAM SCAMMED SCAM

I have a problem with the fact that I have to get another app, line the pockets of the big man, all in order to use another one of their apps. Lol, what a waste of life.
Directions to sync not available

This was recommended by crypto.com for 2FA but the codes aren’t working. I tried, as suggested to do a time sync, but the option is not available in the app. So now I have money in a crypto account that I can’t use. Very disappointed.

Not only is this owned by Google, who we very well know is not the best with privacy unfortunately, data is never uploaded to an encrypted cloud location which makes it difficult to retrieve 2FA codes when you move to a new phone if you forget to backup your codes with the QR method. Which isn’t clear to find either. Switched to Authy.

Choose another form of verification, I recently updated phones and now I am unable to access my account I had link to Authenticator. It should easily be accessible via email but NOPE! It’s gone. I’m so upset, now living in a foreign country and no way of accessing my old device as it has been wiped. This is a terrible system. Beware.

Was very pleased initially with this app and the flexibility and security that it provided. Very arbitrarily, it seems, all of the authentication data disappeared as if I just downloaded the app from the App Store. Did not have backup codes easily accessible. NIGHTMARE! App not ready for prime time, at least on the iPhone.

Suggestion: Why don't there is a cloud account to save the identifiers in case the phone is lost. I hope this happens

This Authenticator doesn’t not save when you transfer data from a different phone. All my 2fa is gone and can’t login to certain things! Absolutely ridiculous how I wasn’t warned about this.

Hello I just wanted to say that I really like the new visual update it’s very sleek and nice. I gave 4 stars just because of the inability to transfer auths to another phone or computer. This has set me back quite a few times. Nonetheless a good app!
crashes without opening all the way
