I lost my old phone with my google auth on it. I figured since I still have the gmail address I should be fine for setting it back up, but even with my email address I can’t recover codes for two very important accounts of mine. So 1, it’s a risky 2FA, and 2, you’ll lose your account codes and have no way of accessing them because google apparently doesn’t know that phones break.

I used this app for my discord account and some other things. When I opened it today, it crashed, I’ve even tried deleting and re-installing the app, yet it just keeps crashing. Now I’m locked out of basically all of my accounts.

It doesn’t work right, or at all for that matter. One of the worst things to ever come out of google and has caused me nothing but hardships when trying to recover information.

No me decía que cobraban por la descarga y me cobraron 12.99 de mi tarjeta así que si no la necesita ni la descargue es un robo

My phone offloaded this app at one point, and now I have no access to my accounts whatsoever, and it looks like I’ll never gain that access back.

I’ve made multiple attempts to sign into an account using this Authenticator app by using the code given. Every time it says invalid code even tho I’m putting in the correct code in the required time. This better be fixed. It’s costing me money. Not happy!!!

You: sets up Google Authenticator for 2FA on a couple apps. No problem. You: Gets new phone, transfers everything via iOS. Super easy. Everything from old phone is on new phone. Apps: Please type in 6 digit verification code Google Authenticator: Nothing here. *shrug*
