I don’t know why all of these other reviews are so negative—I’ve had no issue with this app. I need 2-factor authentication on many of my work accounts, so I use this app practically every day, and it works perfectly fine.

the app works great during the time I’ve had it, and it is easy to organize all the sites I’ve been connecting it with.

Does everything i need from a mfa. I migrated my accounts from a Samsung to an iPhone in 3 seconds. Now if you were to lose your prior phone…i think you may be in trouble.

My phone was recently stolen. Can’t even recover what I had because it asks for your old phone QR code and that’s the only way you can’t get the passwords for your apps back. Lost my Snapchat and memories there forever because of this app. Don’t get it

It forgot my information within a week and now I’m locked outside of my accounts forever. Thanks a lot!

Unbelievable how this works… If you break your phone, lose it, or upgrade it, you’re dead out of luck. (Who doesn’t upgrade there phone often these days anyway?) There is no way to recover your codes once your use a new device, even if back up and restored. The help forums mention back-up codes, however Authenticator never gives you any when you begin using it. Can’t believe this was overlooked. Incredibly frustrating. Locked out of any service right now that used Authenticator.

I changed my phone and now I lost all my codes… I can’t import my account because I don’t have access to the old device..
