Be forewarned this app does not allow you to make refunds even when the event is a WEEK away. The ticket was purchased on accident and cannot he refunded. This app also doesn’t allow you to save a card for future purchases. Not great customer service.

I like it but wish....

I like the app but wish it would do a few things differently. I used it to buy 2 season passes for high school football. Sometimes we only need one of the passes. There's not a way to separate them to give one away without them needing my login and password. This would be a great feature. Thanks.

Rarely works and poor support.

Entered my code for my booster club tickets. They do not show up. Furthermore, the games aren’t even showing up. School said to reach out to gofan for support. Reached out to support and they told me to check with the school.

I purchased tickets for my son’s senior night game. I was supposed to escort them on the football field. I had the app but couldn’t get the 4 tickets I purchased so I could get to my boy’s. I wasn’t able to get the tickets to show on my phone app so they could be redeemed especially since I had to get in quickly I ended up buying 4 more tickets in order to get in to the game area. I searched and searched I finally found the tickets I purchased in my email the next day. It’s very frustrating and since football, cheerleaders, and band parents pay for advanced tickets beforehand then others can purchase tickets but I will purchase in person from the school from now on.

Good grief having to enter my credit card every time. So much functionality on an iPhone and yet won’t used my card saved on my phone, doesn’t take Apple Pay, and can’t use a photo option either. How about using some of that 20% fee to add a very useful function?

Tickets don’t show up

The app is a good idea but it is useless. Over half the time I buy tickets they do not show up in the app. Season tickets do not show up in the app. You have to use the confirmation email. What good is the app if you can’t use it to get in.

App was still selling tickets after the game was “sold out” so my child and at least 20 others were unable to access the tickets at the gate. The tickets were visible on their phones but the app refreshed and had no record of the tickets. Left the students embarrassed and confused. No customer service response a week later. My husband had a similar experience with the tickets disappearing at a game 2 weeks earlier. Shameful con artists own this app. Wish I could rate it zero.

I cannot believe junk to come from this pandemic. This app has been sold to high schools as a safe way to manage entry fees. While slowly robbing the poor parents. It’s already bad enough that the schools charge an arm and a leg for entry to every game in an attempt to fund their programs. Now thus app takes its slice as well. The app doesn’t work great, then on top of everything you can’t leave the building once you’re there because, I don’t know someone might not get their cut. I wish we could just say no but you have the perfect storm. Cant very well tell my kids I’m not going to watch them can I. I hope the high schools will smarten up and put GoFan in the trash!

I’m not sure which is worse, the app or the company behind it. On their website their FAQ states clearly that many credit card companies won’t process transactions from them. Avoid if you can. Use if you must. Always check your credit card statements.
