How can you set up a service for a HS sporting event and charge a 25% surcharge fee? That’s is usury and should be reported to the CFPB. Paying $5 to get into the game for a kid is fine but GOFan charges $1.25 on top of that - it’s literally taking advantage of people that don’t know any better - I think regulators would be really interested in investigating this kind of excessive fee because a Debit or credit transaction costs Pennies not dollars for this size transaction . Be better GoFan.
$1.50 service fee on a $5.00 ticket. Wow. Unfortunately when your school or tournament organizer partners with this company you will be captive to these service fees if you want to watch your child play.
17% service charge and they get all of your personal information!! What a scam!! I hate this app.
The app never works. If I could give it negative stars I could. My log in never works. I set up an account with a school preferences. Every single time I have to search for the school again. It usually says No Events when I know there is at least one event. I buy tickets but they don’t show up in my tickets so I have had to re-purchase tickets multiple times. The app is a total hassle. By the time I get to the game I’m agitated from trying to get the app to work, re-searching for the school and trying (in vain) to find my tickets. I really wish our high school would stop using the app! Hate, hate, hate using it. Did I mention I hate the app?!?!
This thing is terrible. If my school didn’t require it I would delete it immediately. It only shows some upcoming events. Don’t waste your time.
The ticket purchasing purchase is seamless and quick. So much so that I purchased tickets for the wrong day. One email to to the organization triggered rock star customer service most organizations dream of having. The refund happened and the communication was brilliant. Great work!
I got the app and paid with Apple Pay for some tickets. Not once did it ask for a login or email. Paid and waited for something to happen or prompt for an email. Nothing. Checked the apple wallet. Nothing. Checked my bank. Charged for the tickets. Go back to the app and it wants me to buys tickets again. All the reviews that say great customer service must be old because I can not find any contact info to get customer service. I tried Facebook and the automated message is says they are away. Looked for refund options and how convenient, no refunds allowed. What a terribly designed app and non existent customer service. Absolutely avoid this if possible.
Not secure. My credit card number was stolen after using this app.
I had an issue with the purchase and the game. Fortunately customer service was very helpful in making it right.
