Dont waiste my time
The content of this service is really good but the app is very buggy. The interface is a mess, there are times where it doesn’t recognize my subscription and says I need to subscribe when I already am, you can’t unsubscribe from the app you have to jump through hoops contacting customer service to be able to by phone. Customer service is almost none existent. Then there is other ridiculous practice with Funimation/SONY to where I can’t watch my purchased digital movies from Funimation on the app unless I am a premium subscriber. That is one of the most greedy and anti consumer things a company can do which is why I decided to unsubscribe until they fix this issues. 1 stars only because of the content. Service and experience is cero

I love hearing dubbed anime and the membership price is a fair payment to go for, however there’s still some anime that need to be on Funimation and some seasons for some of the shows are completely missing (example “Oh My Goddess”). I don’t know how often they put new shows on the app but they should at least add the missing seasons onto their app. Also a picture-in-picture would be nice while playing some app games instead of background noise.

Funamation has good anime but they need more progress on the app itself and the people. I was hacked and contacted funamation they said they couldn’t do anything about it not even kick everyone out the account, and I can’t cancel my subscription either.

Wish the app had a fast forward/skip button like 10 seconds backward and forward so that I don’t have to drag the tiny button across a small phone screen to get to different scenes. The Recently Added tab is not up-to-date with the Funimation website and lags.

The shows and subtitles are all out of sync and it always has terrible connection even when I’m connected to Wi-Fi

In an attempt to adjust my mature viewing settings I am unable to access my account on your website. Even after changing the password the login still fails. Either allow us to make these changes within the app or simply remove ALL “mature viewing” content from your library since folks like me are somehow permanently barred from such content.
