Extremely disappointed

I’ve been trying to sign up for the past hour now and an error message keeps popping up saying it failed. Like tell me what I’m doing wrong. I might as well be like alright that’s everything and they are like yeah but it won’t work and I’m like why and there like what you want us to TELL you? That’s WAAAAY too much work
The amount of ads

Giving this app a 2 star only because for SOME reason the app just likes to stop working even with good internet and wifi other than that great selection of animes to watch
Good selection but rarely works

Don’t get me wrong the selection they have is great but what’s the point of a good selection if you can only watch it sometimes. The app for PlayStation is the worst of everything. If you pause it to long you have to restart the app. Now a new issue has come up for the PlayStation app at least that you can’t even select anything it’s like the app is just a picture of your Home Screen. Frozen I’m probably going to have to go another route to watch my shows sad

It’s broken and this goes for console application as well. Some reviews are ridiculous complaints like “there are too many subs/dubs” that’s ridiculous reason to give a one star. They should go somewhere else if there isn’t a way to disable it. If there isn’t, you should add a way, that would be smart. Please try to fix the UI. I don’t know why it is broken. That is something worth fixing. Some episodes don’t play as well. That’s very odd. It just won’t play some episodes in a season.

It will only play certain episodes, and it won’t always connect to chrome cast. It’s annoying.. especially if you pay for the monthly subscription
Buggy App Prevents Watching

I want to have a Funimation subscription. Most of my favorite shows are here. The app works so infrequently for me that it just doesn’t make sense. • It doesn’t perform well when screen mirroring. • It almost never shows any of my available screens as an option in the casting menu. • On the ad-supported version: the third and last section of every episode doesn’t autoplay after the final ad sequence. The episode restarts instead. • Once an episode freezes, it cannot start playing again until I close the app or powercycle the device to which I’m streaming. I am not pleased to cancel my subscription, but I also can’t pay for something that doesn’t work.
So inconsistent. Many episodes cannot be watched on mobile.

This app is so disappointing. You would think a mobile streaming app would work simply like any other premier example such as Netflix or Prime Video. Unfortunately the Funimation app lives to disappoint. Downloading episodes is a feature proposed in the app, but not one that actually works. I came to terms with that disappointment. What I can’t come to terms with is how many episodes of shows will not load depending on the language you pick. For example, Attack on Titan episode 28 is not available in Japanese or English simulcast, but works uncut in Spanish exclusively. What a mess. Please do more, Funimation.
