Don’t use in Dublin. The app doesn’t describe how to find your taxi. When I texted the taxi he told me to meet at the terminal 2 car park. There are numerous car parks. Tried calling. He left. Stuck in the rain until found a can the old fashion way. All the cabbies we spoke to said app doesn’t work for them. Uber Uber or bus it.

Price was double the estimate

The actual price was double the estimate shown in Google Maps. There was no traffic, driver took the most direct route. In Uber, the estimate for the exact same trip was exactly what I paid.

Scaming Taxi driver in Rome Italy

I order A trip to a restaurant was quoted between €9-€13. The taxi driver which accept the order took us to another route. While we were insisting to go to the destination he kept saying "1 minute" eventually he return us to the right place. Not yet, the most fun part is now, he entered on his phone app €25 and make us go to our phone an accept the request. We were freaking out. We thought we only pay the amount posted before we accept the ride. The driver getting aggressive and make loud commen in Italian. We disagreed to pay that amount. After 15 mins back and forth he reduced it to €15. We had no choice but accept the request. Luckily we used an American Express credit card. The card issuer agreed with my case and refund the trip amount back. If you wanted a smooth trip, go ahead a book an Uber ride. Eventhough Uber only offer Premium/Luxury ride in Rome Italy, it will be much worth the time and experience. NEVER DOWNLOAD THIS APP unless YOU CAN SPEAK THE LOCAL LANGUAGE. Big Thanks to AMEX team for their understanding the frustration of their member especially when we are in a country dont speak their language.

App works ok but inaccurate, taxis are scammers

The app gets a decent rating foe working most of the time, but, importantly the estimates are almost always inaccurate and sometimes drastically wrong! For example, a cabbie DOUBLED the rate on one of our rides because the ride was out of town despite knowing this when booked and neither the app nor the cabbie informed us of this extra/double charge at booking or start of the ride. Most cabs will scam and overcharge you in some way if you’re a traveler or tourist. Most times a private car would be a better choice.

“My taxi “ was an excellent app and worked wonderfully in Italy. But my experience since free now has taken over has been abysmal. You could see the foreshadowing coming when a company would change the name of a popular app with a self explanatory name to one that is vague and non descriptive. It shows a clear lack of judgement which has obviously carried over to other areas.

I am warning you DO NOT USE THIS APP unless you enjoy being cheated. I made a budget for my layovers in Italy and Spain and I didn't feel like walking to the airport to get a taxi in Italy so i used this stupid app to send for one, well the app told me it would be between €13-15 to my wonderful surprise when the trip ended it was actually €40!!!!! On the way back to the airport i didn't use this app i used a taxi sitting there on the street and guess how much the fare was going to the exact same place from the exact same location it was €14.35 with airport fee €20

Free now is useless nothing like Uber

Their Cus service matia says that they only connect and that if driver rips you off they can’t help you. App connect makes money and rob you. That’s what Matia from Cus services. Use Uber instead

We have used this app on two separate visits to Rome. We are very happy with it. Taxis arrived quickly, were always able to find us wherever we were (including on busy streets), and the drivers were grateful and somewhat surprised by (small) tips which aren’t the custom there. In our experience, taxi drivers knew the city well: only once did we have a driver who got confused about a location.
