Worked great for getting my group of 5 around Dublin. The version I used didn’t show an estimated cost, but it only cost 17€ to get five people across Dublin in the early afternoon.
Needs a “pet option”

Please add a “pet option”! Many European taxis accept pets, but it is normal to inform them there will be a 4 legged passenger in advance. Thank you.

The only reason I rate this 1 star is the whole pay at the end feature. It creates a situation where the drivers would rate me 1 or 2 stars if I DON’T tip them at least 10% I know what this game is: you are ending the journey and the driver is sitting right there, so you feel compelled to tip. Setting up this stupid social situation nullifies all good will I have for the app and the driver.

Our driver couldn’t accept the ride and we ended up driving on a the highway with the driver with no security of the ride being accepted. I told customer service and got a terrible response. Avoid.
red screen. nothing loads!!

ios13.7 iphone 7, screen loads red, nothing shows up. left it open for 1 minute, nothing changed. it was running as the only app. uninstalled it, reinstalled it, same red screen. i’ve used you guys for 2+ years and this is the first time this has ever happened!
Poor privacy features - dodgy

I like that you can request an electric black cab in London. I switched from another app for this reason. However, every time you open the app, it brings up the privacy settings and prompts you to opt in to receiving three kinds of communication from them. There is no way to permanently opt out. You have to manually select “Skip” every time. This is sneaky and underhanded as well as just plain annoying. Otherwise the app is good but feels very dodgy because of this. Looking for a new app now.

Downloaded the Free Now taxi app yesterday and booked a car. The estimate was 16-21 euro. When I ordered, it changed to 16-24 euro to reach my distinction which was 5 miles away and would take approximately 15 minutes. Upon arrival (there was no traffic, no delays, I had no baggage etc), I was told 30 euros. I explained that it quoted 16-24 to which the driver replied that was an estimate. It transpired that it was only 27 euro when I questioned the fare. A lot of deception, I won’t be using this app again.
