Substitutions are just as frustrating as adding out of stock to cart

I’m not a big Fred Meyer fan simply because their prices are as high as Whole Foods. On the rare occasion where I have had to order from Freddie’s, it’s just been a sour experience. Many times, I have been able to add foods to my cart that show they are in stock and on sale, it’s only when the food is delivered, or picked up, that I come to realize that a good 30% of my order was out of stock and the substitutions are way off. The substitutions are the worst in the pickup/delivery stores. When I order from Walmart and what I originally order was out of stock, they do their best to match my order. Ordering 5lbs of ground beef, for example: if they are out of the one package of 5lbs ordered, they will price match and give multiple smaller packages to equal my order, sometimes costing themselves money. Fred Meyer doesn’t do this. It is very frustrating to make a large order, basically items to cover a two-week dinner plan for the family and realize that a good portion of the needed ingredients to multiple nights weren’t purchased. As described by other reviews given, there is still the issue of doubling order items as well. It normally takes me 30-60 minutes to put together my order and check out. With the doubling issue, it’s about twice the time. I realize that I am disabled and don’t work and have all the time in the world for this, but no one wants to grocery shop for 2+ hours unless they are in the actual store.

The app kept kicking me out. I had to login at least 5 times (is a good think the items in my cart weren’t removed) those “convenient times and dates” weren’t so convenient at all! Is 2pm and my 9 items will be ready for pick up between 7pm and 8pm. Is my first time using the app, so let’s see if my items are selected and deliver to my car I good condition.

I give 3 stars for the merchandise and sales this store has to offer. But…customer service in some of their employees needs an attitude adjustment. I have never felt so disrespected the way I did tonight 12/31/2012 @ 4:45pm in the self checkout. I let the employee know this. She should have been taken off of the floor. She was extremely aggressive and did not want to be working and let me know this. That’s why I became confrontational. No one shopping too spend money should feel the way I did leaving this establishment. I am a frequent shopper at the grand central station and have come across several employees I felt didn’t like their job. But this lady was extreme about it. Tread lightly customers because this location has no Repercussion for their employees.

Pickup order doesn’t work

After creating an account, selecting my store, and adding items to my cart, the app will not let me check out. Tried three times and get rv9547 error each time. Called the phone number on the error message and I guess they’re closed today? No information about the error appears online. Very frustrating, will try Walmart I guess.

I am a great fan of the app when it works. It seems that updates create problems signing in. Right now I cannot sign in (wonder if this has anything to do with the update from four days ago). Since I use the app primarily to check on prescriptions it is useless to me until I do not get an error (I tried to uninstall and reinstall but the error persists).
