Lack of IPAD support

Foscam you really need to address the issue of no ipad support. Your current Iphone version will not even run on an ipad. The screens do not line up properly so the app is useless for anyone wanting to access via IPAD and Iphone. Please look into fixing.

So you make an iPad version but it doesn’t do landscape? Really? Common. Do you know how many people prefer landscape over portrate mode on tablets?

The latest version offers “iPad support” but now there’s no way to rotate the image for landscape viewing. My iPad is usually docked in a keyboard, so it would be great if the app rotated the images automatically according to device orientation...
R2 & R4 Landscape Mode Gone

The Oct 22, 2019 iPad app update no longer allows you the option to view the live camera view in landscape mode. You can only view the live camera in portrait mode only. A work around solution that I use for the iPad is the free Owlr app Foscam versions which allows the use of the Landscape Mode, Joystick, Night Vision, Two Way Talk, Mirror and Flip view. The Foscam R2 and R4 cameras are excellent for their picture clarity, size and price point.

On my tablet landscape does not work just thought I would put that in there but otherwise you guys did a very good job with the update.
New update won’t switch to full screen view

The app on iPad works fine; however the option to switch to a full screen when turning the iPad horizontal is no longer working. The use for this app on the iPad was ideal as you could have a large, full screen for security/baby camera ... but now that went away. **Strong recommendation to reintroduce the full screen option**

Latest version will NOT auto-rotate to landscape mode! What is the point of the in an iPad. The last version auto-rotated fine on an iPad Pro 10.5. Now it does NOT!

I am no longer able to view live video in landscape mode (horizontal) on my iPad. It used to rotate automatically and fill the iPad screen when I held the iPad horizontally but now it stays half screen in the vertical position. Please fix or advise if there’s away for me to view in landscape.

My first review ever. This camera is great when it works. The problem is getting it to work. If you are monitoring anything of importance (little ones in the crib for example) I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for the connection and ability to connect is less than reliable. If you let the camera attempt to “Establish a secure connection with camera” it will fail 9/10 times. Disclaimer - this could just be my cameras (Plural I have 2) but I find it unlikely. I possess 2 cameras (and have for 2+ years). Again I will say when this camera works it is great. The night vision allows me to see across the room and clearly. Unfortunately the negative aspects of dealing with the app have caused me to break my review silence and write this review. If the connection issue would be resolved and i could fire it up to check on my sleeping toddler on demand without fail this review could be updated.
