Full screen gone

That simple. The full screen option is now gone. For me that was one of the most important features. The rest remain the same. So basically the update was more negative than positive. Do not update.

****Update to my original rating. Ive found that if I log out of the app first and log back in each time I open it, it seems to work. Since doing this each time, It has been working as it should. **** All firmware and apps up to date. I constantly have to re-add my camera anytime I want to view the R4 camera I have. Consider another brand until they get the app fixed. The DDNS does not either. You have been warned. The IP web interface isn't much better.

Latest version won’t rotate to horizontal

I use this app daily. After the latest update it will no longer rotate and go into landscape mode on my iPhone. Stuck with the small window. Like to be able to turn my iPhone into landscape mode so I can see the video full screen.

New Update.... Still no iPad fix

If I could go back a few versions I would. The last update screwed up our iPad option to rotate the screen. Had been waiting on this latest update to hopefully see that fixed. However I’m sad to say that it didn’t happen. Please fix this

I have had Foscam home security cameras (2 of them) for 3 years and they have been working flawlessly. I also use WyzeCam cameras and they are pretty good, but from my personal experience, they do not have the features and reliability of Foscam. Also I like that I can use either WiFi or Ethernet connections with Foscam and the recent software update makes accessing your recordings even easier.

Live View works when it wants to

Just not quite up to par with other live camera systems & applications. Newest update made some new progress, just not enough unfortunately. I’ve installed and reinstalled everything from the app, the camera, updated firmware, you name it... I’ve even had to go thru the exchange process to have a new camera shipped thinking something was wrong with it. Same thing every time, works for 1-2 days then you get the wheel of death. “Establishing a secure connection with Camera”. Whether your on your home WiFi or not. Funny thing is you can review your recording even a minute prior, but not live.

This new app no longer work for older FI8910W

I added my FI8910 to the app, and “save” the info. When I attempted to connect it says Login fail : Connect fail The same exact camera access info was entered on my PC and it worked just fine. How can this be fixed?

Overly complicated. Does not work. Developers made a simple task into a cluster.

Many times the camera missing on the motion detection. You could stand right in front of it and it doesn’t capture you. Also, when I go to the notifications it opens every time to 7-3-19. It take 1minute before it finally connects to a live stream. I hope it can improve.
