It is ok for looking in on my kids but some connectivity problems. Signing in remotely is often a problem. Also it keeps asking me World Cup predictions while my child is crying. I am an American. Do you think I give a half of a f**k about international soccer while my five month old child is crying loud enough to wake up my three year old? How is the World Cup relevant in a home security system? Be better at what you do Foscam. Shaking my head in disappointment. Bought this on the recommendation of a friend but the one day it didn’t work and the World Cup stuff came up made me want to burn my house to the ground just to get rid of this and it’s World Cup inquisition. I’m sure once it has asked for my location and it has my address so it should know I don’t care about the World Cup. The fact that it is asking me on July 4th week is double insulting. We declared our independence 242 years ago so that I wouldn’t have to care about soccer. Stop it Foscam. Just stop it. You want to ask me about the World Series in October (and I’m a baseball fan) don’t. Need my thoughts on the Super Bowl (huge football fan) nope. NCAA football playoffs (I played in college) stop it. Just be a better camera for me to watch my kids. Concentrate all your efforts on that. I already have the ESPN app.
Not pushing notifications

Since the last update i am not able to get alert notifications pushed from the app. Please fix
Alarm rings when motion activated

The camera alarm rings as soon as motion detection is activated whether there is motion or not. Please fix. Very annoying.
Too buggy to use

We use this for a baby monitor and frankly the new app makes that impossible. The camera stays connected for only minutes at a time and being asked to log in to see the camera at 3a.m. is just not cool. Luckily the “baby” is now 3 and doesn’t need much monitoring.

Stay away from this app . It works for a few hours and SCAM you to purchase iCloud space for $130 . Stay away from this Scam .

This app works for 2 purposes only: 1. Sync Time, 2. Run firmware updates. If you want remote access then download OWLR Foscam app.

Foscam, please fix the SD card playback feature in the latest update which happened 7/13/18. I have 3 devices with this app, 2 have been updated. The 2 updated devices record to the card fine but playback shows an opening image but does not continue to play. No progress bar movement. The device I have not upgraded still works fine. Please fix ASAP. Thank you. Update: Posted original post early 7/14/18 and new update available that evening. Same day fix, very impressive. The app is now fixed and is awesome again. Rating update to 5 stars. Thank you Foscam.
Logs camera out / wireless password doesn’t support special character

Logs camera out / wireless password doesn’t support special character. The settings page states it support special characters in the wireless password setting. The reason why the camera does not remain logged in after closing the app is that it cannot read special characters. I changed my password to numbers and letters only and the issue resolves itself. This is a workaround. Not a fix. Please fix this for a more secure password feature. And allow https when viewing the camera on a browser.
