I have three FI9800p security cameras and within the application, I have named each differently; however, every single time in the Notification Center I get this: “FI9800p detected abnormal motion at 10:00” And that’s it! So, which camera? Therefore, I can never find out which camera detects motions in notification center. Hence, I must open the application. What makes matters worse is that when I open the application, I still don’t know which camera has detected motion. There is sometimes only a note above the screen saying “FI9800p detected abnormal motion at 10:00”. I still have to open each camera separately to figure out which one recorded most recently. This is such a terrible & confusing user interface. Folks! If Arlo works in your country, NEVER hesitate to choose Arlo instead of Foscam! DEVELOPERS: Please AT LEAST make the notifications more dynamic. LET US FIND OUT WHICH CAMERA DETECTS MOTION BY MEANS OF NOTIFICATION CENTER! PS: the application gets logged out quite frequently (at least once in a month). So I have to log in again! How can I find out I got kicked out? Well! I, myself, need to be more vigilant like when I don’t receive notifications for a while! —> see? Is it fine? Really? What if something happens during the time that I am not logged in. Why do I have to log in again & again? Just frustrating...

Terrible. Doesn’t connect, and when it does.... disconnects in seconds. Cannot get sound to work ever. I can laundry list all the issues technical and other wise but it appears no one at Foscam reads these reviews or improves the app based upon them. It’s a shame because they make great cameras. The night vision especially is fantastic. Wish there was an app that wasn’t poop like this one is. So disappointed! I’m now in market for a new camera system with an accompanying app I can easily use on my phone. I have no way of monitoring the camera now because this App is so worthless!!!

If I could give this app a zero, I would. The hardware is good. The software, its requirements to make the cameras work, and cloud storage prices are a TOTAL joke. I have bought several security camera systems that work 10 times better, have free cloud storage, and are MUCH easier to hook up. I’ve been in the camera security business for over 10 years and I have NEVER experienced such a worthless pile of junk. Why doesn’t APPLE do a better job of screening junk like this? DO NOT USE THIS Application, you are waiting your hard earned money and giving it to somebody that cannot program.

This is app is absolute garbage. I got a wireless camera to be able to view my home via my phone and it NEVER WORKS PROPER. PLEASE FIX THIS IS F*****g ridiculous.

Easy to connect my four R2 cameras works well from anywhere. But blatant non stop selling of their way over priced cloud playback service. No where to ask questions? Is it 39.95 per camera? For my four cameras? Maybe if 19.95 for all four cameras. Still why pay, I can record my own alerts. I’d pay 9.95 for a year all four cameras. Else please stop throwing it in my face. It’s clear that it’s not selling. Going to shop for other apps.
