Enjoyed it at first, but not anymore

When I first downloaded the app, I was fairly pleased for a while as everything seemed to work decently. However recently, right as I saved up enough points to redeem a reward, all the rewards changed to require more points than before and along with that all of them except for Vinyls and CD’s became irredeemable unless you decide to purchase Fix premium. Overall, I ended up wasting too much time with this app just to be let down.

It’s crappy that I have to pay for premium to get the shirts the only reason I joined was to get the things for free because I can’t buy them because I am freakin poor and I wish that this wasn’t added.

Pay to play

Birds and Bees Podcast

I really liked the app when it started. I’m number one on many of the classic rock charts and that was fun to participate in. It started out fun competing in listening to your favorite bands to see who’s on top, and play name that tune (still my favorite on the app), Then people could pay to get more plays with point multiplying to get ahead ... ok no big deal ... then 50 streams a day reduced to 20 a day (if you don’t pay) ... annoying ... but then come to find out the reward I was saving for is now a “premium only” reward. I’m frustrated with that move. I watch the ads, read the articles, log on each day and share things so I don’t know why the more updates that come on the more you pay Fix to get a reward. It feels like a carnival game. You spend 20 bucks to “win” a 5 dollar prize. The rewards are mainly CDs and Records which is pretty cool. The clothing merchandise is alright (depending on the artist you like). I really don’t like the trend Fix is moving toward. I’ll cash in my 6,000 points and probably delete if things don’t change much. I wish they accepted Apple Music streams.

Mad

I never write reviews, but I was so annoyed that I had to. I literally JUST got this app, with the sole purpose of paying for concert tickets with points from the app. A day or two later, the ticketmaster gift cards as well as almost half of the things in the shop listed are for Fix Premium only!1!1 The point of the app was that it’s free. I genuinely believe the developers were just waiting for the app to blow up before limiting everything and forcing everyone to pay. Change it back or all of your users WILL leave.

I would’ve given FIVE stars but...

Ever since I did the update I’ve been very upset considering I’ve been racking up points for months! For one item that has been taken down so I’m waiting like I did before and still am BUT I was considering getting the other merch from my favorite artist but now I can only get it off of premium, I had very high hopes for this app and I’m kind of disappointed ?

It’s a good app, but kind of disappointed

kalezer!!

I’ve had this app for awhile now, maybe like 5 months now? When I first started off using it, I thought it was great. I was earning points fast and wasn’t complaining. I just wished more artists had like clothing merchandise instead of albums or just merch in general. However, with the past two most recent updates, my opinion changed. I really wanted the Teenage Emotions T-Shirt which was 3200 points. I had around 3100 and was going to claim it until it went up to 3400. At first, I was like that’s fine I could just wait a little longer to earn points, it’s only 200 more. I just checked into the app today and I had again, almost enough until I saw that it said that it was only for premium members. I don’t mind paying the $2 but I’m just a little disappointed that things went from entirely free to you-have-to-pay-to-get-this-item.

Progressively getting worse

Getting free stuff is good and it was easy to access however now I can’t receive points for sharing articles on twitter. And with this new update I can’t get the merchandise I want (sweatshirts) without paying for premium.

I really wish things were different.

Up until a few days ago, I enjoyed using your app. The bugs were minor and they didn’t bother me too much, but I updated it because the app offered me points to do so. What I DID NOT expect, was for you developers to completely destroy the user friendly environment that I was so drawn to. So you can imagine my shock when I go to look at the merch I was saving up for, only to find that everything that I had been working so hard for, was taken from me. ALL clothing items and apparel had been “locked” under the “premium fix subscription”. Do corporate companies not understand that I ALREADY pay for a Spotify subscription? Why would I want to pay extra for a product that you had previously promised me was free? Your app used to be exciting and fun, but now I’m ready to just delete it all together. You’re going to lose people’s interest REAL fast. And when everyone realizes what you’ve done, your company’s statistical data and ratings are going to drop so low, you’re going to wish you fired the guy who proposed this idea in the first place.

loved it until recent update

I loved how this app wasn’t a scam like other apps. it was acctually easy to gain points and i was close to having enough to claim a prize. then the recent update locked the items i was saving up for?? i loved the idea of this app but now there’s no point because nothing i want is still available unless i pay, which defeats the purpose of the app.

Not worth it

Bubbles1z

I loved this app when i first got it. Easy to link, easy to earn points, and music news. However, now all of the rewards that I want you can only get if you have premium, which costs money. What’s the point? Don’t waste your time.
