This is a fantastic app for speeding up gameplay and planning sessions. If you have access to a iPad, it is also the most convenient means I’ve found to deliver digital assets to the table top. I use this instead of a battle map and it’s even great for dungeon exploration. I highly recommend the base app and its premium version.

Thank you so much for the continual improvements and frequent updates. Originally started using for just the encounter and initiative tracking, but with the battle map, screen mirroring and the newer web and vision pathing tools this DM tool has become indispensable. Thank you so much for your hard work and I am greatly enjoying the community engagement and modules that are becoming readily available.

I use a projector on our game table with the second/player screen. This app is awesome. Why is player screen cast called “legacy” for options available? It seems like it has all updated features unless I am missing something.

The team working on this are obviously avid dnd players and know what there doing. The UI is clean and seamless, and contains everything you could need for a DND game. This app is absolutely essentials to any game I run.

Violates App Store Guidelines

Apple’s guidelines for third-party apps on the App Store clearly state that developers cannot lock Apple product features behind in-app purchases for their applications. This app does that: AirPlay Mirroring, a free feature available with all iOS devices released in nearly a decade, is locked behind a paywall with this app. I refuse to pay for a feature that is provided to me for free, especially when the act of locking that feature behind a paywall is a direct violation of the terms the developer of this app agreed to and signed a legal document saying they would follow. This is a shame too, because this might actually be a decent app otherwise.

Dynamic lighting and the ability to obscure objects and tokens is awesome! This app is indispensable to any group and I. One of my go-to apps. I use this with Discord and I use the external screen option so that I can screen share it to my players via discord while my main screen has all the secrets on it. My players just tell me “move me up two left three” during combat or dungeon crawls, it’s pretty easy!! It takes a while to learn but the settings contain a Help Center for access to tutorials. A great app!!

Great Tool: Friends Not Included

I think this is a great tool for people in person. But I would love the capability of making campaigns and sharing them... through the app? Like playing campaigns with others right here in the app. That’s the only thing I could ask for more in this app. It has absolutely everything else I need. Look, I don’t know what friends are. So give me the capability to make a campaign and invite people to it! I have no problem with purchasing this app to do that!
