Wow! Game Changer for GMs

This software is INCREDIBLE! The developer is awesome, incredibly responsive, and clearly molds this app with love for the many GMs and DMs who have fallen in love with it. This is such a powerful tool already with active development bringing awesome features all the time. If you run a game and want a streamlined experience to prep and run your game, EncounterPlus cannot be beaten.

I love this app, honestly, but it could do with a few perks. Can we get the ability to make classes and Races on a tab of their own? and to name pages on modules? I use this every week on my games and it's a lifesaver. perfect replacement for your dm screen.

Easy to learn, high skill ceiling

A must have for any DMs looking to modernize their tabletop! This app is incredibly powerful and has many hidden features you may not even get to use. I learned how to use the app in twenty minutes of tinkering without tutorials and plan to use it for all my games in the future! I haven’t used the battlemap feature yet but I’m considering buying it.

This app is great and super easy to use. there is only one thing i wish would change. token scaleing. tokens only size right on 5ft x 5ft squares. for example, a large creature is typically 10ft by 10ft, or four 5ft squares. the issue im having is when my map is 10ft x 10ft scale. i use grid align then set grid scale to 10ft, but when i place tokens theyre huge. for example a lare creature takes up four 10ft squares making it 20ft x 20ft.

Pretty useful. It’s simple in design, and can help keep track of all the creatures in an encounter. I recommend, especially to any DM.

An Awesome App

This has been my go-to RPG manager for running my games for a couple of years now. I am extremely impressed with the work put into Encounter+ and the features available to me. I find the versatility in incorporating maps made with different mapmaking software (i.e. Dungeondraft) extremely useful. The only addition I would make is a “How to” manual (all I’ve come across so far are YouTube videos).

Needs a one time purchase Monster Manual

I am in love with this app! I use it all the time to track initiative and it’s super nice to have for monster statblock tracking as well. I really with I could pay like $5 for a completed monster manual in the app. I hate when I try to look up a monster and it’s not there.

Potential vs Usability

The videos look amazing, but the UI is so confusing, it’s not user friendly at all. I really want to use the battle map function I bought but can’t figure out how to import maps. Very poor documentation and not intuitive at all. The videos make it look really great but it’s very hard to use.

It was great but bugs made it terrible

I had this app for a few months but the bug is that the map was shown black with no grid and the encounter panel is shown 24/7 no way to damage enemy’s see where enemy’s are and characters as well I tried deleting the app and reinstalling but it still shows the same thing
