Violates App Store Guidelines – Encounter+ Review

Apple’s guidelines for third-party apps on the App Store clearly state that developers cannot lock Apple product features behind in-app purchases for their applications. This app does that: AirPlay Mirroring, a free feature available with all iOS devices released in nearly a decade, is locked behind a paywall with this app. I refuse to pay for a feature that is provided to me for free, especially when the act of locking that feature behind a paywall is a direct violation of the terms the developer of this app agreed to and signed a legal document saying they would follow. This is a shame too, because this might actually be a decent app otherwise.
