New version is a lot better, but a few glaring oversights

Updated Review: Version 5 is much better with support for h.265 and better notifications. The app crashes a lot but is still more useful than before. The timeline feature alone makes it work it. This is what the app should have been like from the beginning. A few things that need to be fixed: 1) Fixed aspect ratio does not stay on. I’m sick of looking at stretched wide screen images. Why would I want to do that? Please turn on the aspect ratio control by default. 2) Minimizing a camera in landscape view shows the camera list in portrait view. If I’m already holding my phone in landscape, show me a landscape camera list. 3) Home mode with High Accuracy GPS drains my battery very quickly.

Lack of support

Overnight Synology decided to drop support for older surveillance station version and they don’t allow you to upgrade if you have older model of nas. No way to get back older version of app that worked flawlessly! Please separately publish the version for older nas generations or add back support to this version
Recording problem

I downloaded the new app today and the new features are terrific. All except in recording mode the recording jerks can this be fixed?
New version is awesome

The app works well. I can stream live video and play past recordings. It also shows push notifications that take me right to where motion was triggered. Could not be happier right now.
New Version is Horrible!

9/29 This app keeps getting worse! Now video stutters after latest update. Please fix this mess! This new version is a complete train wreck! Bright white Interface, can’t close windows or figure out how to navigate, completely horrible on iPad. Please change back to the old version! This version/redesign is Horrible!
Revised: Much Better after Latest update

The new version allows navigation pretty much seamlessly from one mode to another. I love the multi pane with the timeline. This upgrade is definitely much better. Previous Version: Now if you go to view a recording or select a live view, there is no way to get out of it and go back to the main screen. Well, you can totally close the app and log back in. There may be a secret code to accomplish this but... it’s a secret! Totally worthless!
Not properly formatted for iPhone X

The view area pushes into the ears on the iPhone X/XS/XS Max displays. It would be nice if they updated the screen to keep all cameras on the screen without pushing into the ears on the display. Also with 18 cameras in use it would be nice to have a selectable multi-view option. I have another app that allows views of 1, 4, 9 and 16 cameras.

I love the app, but request some additions. 1. Focus and iris on Onvid profile 2. A mobile way to access the smart time lapse 3. Black iOS client theme.
Broken on iPhone XS Max

The notifications screen is broken. The button to drop down the main menu is hidden behind the time. You have to force close the app and reopen it to look at other screens.
