Geofence rarely works

I app is fine but I can’t rely on Geofence to turn off home mode when I leave. It rarely works.

Geofence is unusable. It constantly enters and leaves home mode. Tried every possible settings in app even 500m geofence constantly triggers it. I receive tons of emails when I am home. On off on off on off on off.. Though idea of pairing with specific WiFi network is great, but it is not always functioning properly.

I have a 50 mbps connection ok iPhone. I have been waiting for five minutes now again for real Time update on app via latest amcrest camera. IT IS UNUSABLE. what is the point of an app and investment of home security if I can only view locally when at home? Pathetic

Quit working

Longtime Synology user who loves it for file and Time Machine backup. But viewing my cameras stopped working recently on my iPhone and iPad. Still works in my Mac Book Air with new Surveillance Station Client app. For whatever reason Synology managed cameras are just getting too hard to deal with. I may just sell the cameras and licenses and replace them with the new models from Ring with cloud storage

Perfect add-on to DiskStation NAS

I'm not sure about all the negative reviews, this Cam app connects flawlessly with my DS NAS, and I love how it organizes the camera recordings and has quick playback from motion recordings. A lot easier than using the DS browser portal. Live view works great as well. So far so good!!!

One camera was not working previously. Now all 3 cameras are not working. When it worked it was very slow. Not worth it. The nas is great but using cameras with nas is very bad.

Don't install this latest update!

Synology broke the Live View again with this version. After many, many months of my live video not working, the previous release fixed it. I should have known better than to update, but it's broken again for me now! Really disappointed again.

Primary Function Does Not Work

I love my Synology, but not being able to use the Live View defeats the purpose of having the app on my phone. I'm forced to revert to the manufacturer's app which is not as nice. Live view works just fine outside of my network via a web browser on a desktop, so the problem is definitely specific to this application.

Main function lost after last update

We can't view the live cams past the preview screen unless on wireless connection. We've tried multiple settings changes in hopes of a fix but no luck so far. Looking for some feedback or an app update.

I purchased a thousands of dollars in hardware and $1,800 in licensing and this problem persists!? Not a firmware issue. Shame on you Synology. Dumbest thing I've ever done is trust you jerks with the safety of my family and business. What a joke!!!!!!
