Always crashing

ALWAYS crashing! Seriously the worst app on my phone. I only gave it two stars due to the fact that I can see my baby while in out of town (we use this as a baby monitor). Other than that it is complete and total garbage.
App keeps crashing on iPhone!

I've been using this app/dropcam camera for almost two years and haven't had any problems with it. I only use live feed so I can't speak to its reliability with recorded video. Would recommend.

The app used to work OK but now it crashes every time I try to load the live feed. Snapshot when I open the app works fine, turns out the live feed is pretty important. Tried restarting my phone and didn't help. Looks like this hasn't been updated since almost a year now... Sigh.

My app keeps crashing every three seconds, I've reset everything and it's still happening, of course this only happens after I leave my house and am nearly 3000 miles away. I keep getting notifications someone is in my house but cannot see who it is or what's going on. Awesome, this is what I paid $300 for. Very disappointed, will be switching cameras as soon as I'm home. Done with dropcam.

It would literally glitch almost 24/7. Like, if I were to click/observe a room, it would exit from the app and go back to the home screen. It's annoying and unacceptable. Especially the quality too. You can barely see anything if you zoom in. So if there were a robber, you wouldn't be able to identify their facial features cause it's literally just a speck! I am so disappointed about this app. It was awesome before, but then, bam! All of a sudden it starts glitching for no apparent reason.

After the last update it's been doing nothing crash every time you click on the camera you want to view. Bad bad!

Update 6/29/15. Now have 6 Dropcams. All work on this app and are wonderful. The new version, Nestcam , has 1080p vs 780 on mine, but they won't run on this app. The Nest app is terrible. If you think there were problems with this app, you will pull your hair out when using the new one. You can no longer see all your live feeds at one time, can't easily share your video, and worst of all, you can't delete unwanted video without removing you camera from the system! Update 4/6/2015: I now have three cameras and will probably get three more for my vacation home. These things are addictive. Over the past month I have found that most of the problems I have had our my own fault for using the app incorrectly. I have called support several times and they are just great. They are actually available 24/7 and are always very courteous and helpful. All of the negative comments just blow my mind. I have two iPhones three iPads and two I Macs and the apps work perfectly on all. I Think negative reviews are written before people try to figure out what they're doing wrong. Call support first and they will probably be able to straighten you out. Can't wait to see what things they will have in the future. Just got my drop cam yesterday, and I am in love with it! I purchased it mainly for my 93yo mother-in-law who lives with us so she can see what's going on outside. However it's also great for me to be able to see what's happening. I hate to have to pay for recording, but it is really necessary if you can't follow the live feed. I'll probably be buying several more units. 3/3/15 update. After a few days I need to add an addendum. The camera has been working perfectly as the have the apps for my iMac and iPad Air 2. However, the iPhone app is not working well... Freezes, goes to a white screen, won't load the video, etc. I have to keep logging out and back in for it to work.Its a shame they let this out with these bugs. 3/9/15 update. Unlike others I had no trouble opening a nest account. Just gave my password and was done. I have had no problems. I also figured out I was using the iPhone app incorrectly. If you click on the blue feed bar at the bottom, you immediately see all the clips that have been taken. I no longer get the white screen or any freezing. Drop cam needs to give you better instructions. Note: as soon as I wrote this update the app froze with the blank white screen. Very disappointing. 6/25/16 update The drop cam app remains far superior to the nest app.Since you can't use the new cameras with the old app, I would no longer recommend lthis camera.
