Don't buy dropcam if you expect to use any app to monitor!

Just don't waste your money! The apps (dropcam AND nest) are completely buggy, and the dropcam is the better of the two but is not supported anymore. That alone should tell you something. Zero stars! Ripoff! I am now on a mission to review their CRAP on any and every media platform possible, starting now, since I can't reliably monitor MY 2 yo KIDS! App kicks you out randomly, and then, when you try and log back in, says the U/P combo is wrong! Lies. I hate this. I had to get another monitor set up (more cash) but the resolution for the dropcam is better so I mindlessly enter the login info 89x to just get a pic. This is the end. Done.

I can open the app but when I go to look at the video history, it shuts down. Usually works great but something is not right now!

The old Dropcam app stayed lovgged in on the iPhone. This version forces you to log in repeatedly and there is NO option to stay logged in. Very, very irritating!!!

The app doesn't work well with IPhone, you can't playback activities. It will say loading but never plays back

Great camera for providing security at a home or office! The most recent aggravating problem is that the app does not remember the username and password like it did before recent updates. This nearly made me write a 3 star out of 5 review. I gave the review 4 stars in hopes that the app would support remembering username and password in the future.
Terrible and unreliable

We've had two Dropcam's for a year now and the app is constantly crashing. The cameras themselves are fine but it is truly an unreliable source of monitoring. Often times the camera in my daughters room turns off by itself every night for know apparent reason. I have to turn the camera on again early in the morning. Very frustrating.
Used to be quite good.

Used to be great. Since taken over by Nest- poor. Unreliable. Frequently down and "unavailable". Just poor compared to prior to the Nest acquisition.
