Disappointing Nest update

What the heck? All I want to do is watch a friend's feed but this app wants me to set up a home camera. Duh!
Hate is after acquisition

Used to work great. After they sold the company, it's absolutely terrible as is their customer service. I've already ordered a Canary and a Piper to test out because Nest has ruined the dropcam.

This is the worst app. It will make you log in again every time you open it. Fix this problem!
Don't buy camera until app is improved

Bad user experience all around. The notifications are so broken that you'll have to turn them off which makes the whole thing useless.

This app is unbelievably crappy. The cameras are great - so long as they aren't deciding to turn themselves off or take several hours off from recording - but I get kicked out of the dropcam app CONSTANTLY. There is zero reason that I should have to log in over and over again. SO UNHAPPY with this app. Please fix this... It's been going on for as long as we've had the cameras (over a year).
Drop Cam Pro and Drop Cam app best in class

I own 6 Drop Cam Pros. We live in a large ranch style home shaped like a "L". I have cameras on all sides of our home "on guard" 24/7. I am mostly interested with what is happening outside (not inside) my home. While the cameras have alerted me to crime occurring on my street, the real pleasure is being able to catch local wildlife during the day and night on our property. I have written to the new management at Nest and requested that the company allow Drop cam owners to continue to use the Drop App. The Drop app has many neat features and is easier to use than the new Nest Cam app. So far, so good. The Drop app is still operating. The Drop cam is easy to use, provides high quality video and gives me something that is priceless....peace of mind. From Spokane, WA.

Works great, could not be happier. One word of caution, Nest is telling people to switch to the Nest app which is very buggy, stay with this app.
App is abominable

App is abominable. Nest/Dropcam is providing a wifi streaming camera that is great however the cameras app is constantly dropping the connection or turning off completely. It's not my internet either which is has a very high upload and download speed. It is 100% the faulty app. Also since iOS has updated I am unable to connect my camera to other wifi sources unless I use an old device that has not been updated HUGE hassle. Step up your game dropcam.
