Pre tipping needs to change

I strongly believe you should be tipped based on how well you serve me. Standard service standard tip. Bad service no tip. Great service great tip. Its an easy to understand concept. However, pre tipping is a terrible idea. The problem is that your tip generally doesn’t reflect the service you receive. I have tried giving high, low, and mid tips and the service is always random. There has been countless times where I gave over 20% tip and the bag my food shows up in is soggy or wet. Pre tipping is not a consistent incentive to give good service. I would give this five stars but the pre tipping situation is such a deal breaker that I can’t justify giving more than one star.

I enjoy this app, it’s a huge help dont get me wrong, have had minor and few problems with deliveries…but I entered in easily over 10 ACTIVE promo codes and none of them worked…why? I kept gettin the same message over and over “promo code is not eligible for this account” or something like that. Like is something wrong with my account, is it because I’m not doing the monthly subscription? I would really like an answer for clarity please

Worst app ever, so EXPENSIVE literally robs you of money! we ordered from Taco Bell and half the order wasn’t there, everything was incorrect, nothing had tomatoes on it which everything I got was supposed to have. We made a complaint to door dash the order cost was 50$ including all the fees, taxes, and tips and they only offered us 18$ for everything we were really unhappy with this order…

Overall a good app just one thing, if there’s no dasher in area why would you advertise to get food, it’s a little soft that they do this, I was half tempted to delete but they have been good to me but the only thing I don’t understand is why advertise to get food if there’s no dasher in my radius
