Pre tipping needs to change – DoorDash - Food Delivery Review

I strongly believe you should be tipped based on how well you serve me. Standard service standard tip. Bad service no tip. Great service great tip. Its an easy to understand concept. However, pre tipping is a terrible idea. The problem is that your tip generally doesn’t reflect the service you receive. I have tried giving high, low, and mid tips and the service is always random. There has been countless times where I gave over 20% tip and the bag my food shows up in is soggy or wet. Pre tipping is not a consistent incentive to give good service. I would give this five stars but the pre tipping situation is such a deal breaker that I can’t justify giving more than one star.
