More misses than hits.

When I first started using Door Dash, I loved it. The service was fast, efficient and a pleasure to use. That is sadly no longer the case. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the first few times issues arose but over the last ten or so transactions, mistakes have become the norm—not the exception. There seems to be a lack of communication between the ranks that leads to a lot unnecessary frustration and customer service is adequate, not excellent. I have yet to experience any one going above and beyond to rectify the increasing issues I’ve encountered using there service of late. Door Dash is far from the worst delivery service out there, and some of their drivers are absolutely fantastic but I can no longer say Door Dash is the best and I do hope that changes.

Poor service

Hodido

You have to create an account before it will tell you it doesn't provide service in your area. In my eyes that's poor service.

DO NOT USE

Weezy1209

I wish I could give them a zero. The dashers don’t pay attention to you order. The app will occasionally use the credits on your door dash account and also charge your card. I am very dissatisfied with the service and do not recommend whatsoever

Fix this asap

I recommended my mom, she ordered, and payed. She completed to process. I did not get my credit. Unbelievable.

First time user

I was in Tulsa Oklahoma on business and using deliver services for food, as I had flown in and stayed at a hotel. I am huge on customer service and focus the majority of my review ratings on it. Quality of product is specific to the company from which produces it. It’s not relevant to DoorDash. This is the first time I had used this service and was quite pleased at the ease and convenience of it. Jeffery G. was my driver. He took the time to reach out to me, asking if I wanted sauce with my order. I was pleased that he bothered to check with me before leaving the restaurant. This is a small detail that was not overlooked. It’s things like this that makes me want to pay compliment to the people who actually put effort into customer service. Well done Jeffery and thank you. I will use this service again.

Good Service. Bad App.

Dr. Eugenius

The app does not open. Instead, it continually freezes. The service I have received, from using the website, has been good. No complaints there. Just a defective app.

TO ALL THE CUSTOMERS

Do not tip in the app please. Tip the drivers in cash. And if you do tip in the app , screenshot it and ask drivers how much they actually get .

Watch out

Door dash makes a lot of their money by charging more than the restaurant for the item, and adds the taxes and delivery fee to that price as well. For example a biscuit at the restaurant you want to order from cost 50¢ the menu price on door dash will say $1.50 and charge you triple what the restaurant charges you and throw on tax delivery fee and tip based on that price!

Slow

Door Dash recently went live in my city so I decided to give it a try. I have previously used UberEats to order from a certain restaurant and was happy to see that same restaurant on Door Dash. I ordered my regular meal and was surprised to see that the ETA was 55-65 minutes. It’s normally 30-40 from this restaurant with UberEats. Decide to go through with it since delivery is free. Nope. At the one hour mark, I get an email advising that it will be closer to 1 hr and 30 min because the dasher hasn’t picked up the order. I was able to cancel my order through the chat function pretty quickly and was able to specify that the refund go back to my debit card and not as door dash credits. Appreciate the customer service but will probably stick to UberEats.

Great Service - App is NOT intuitive

Have you ever tried to do something and then like half way through decided that it really isn’t worth the trouble. That kind of sums up this app.
