Doordash pays the driver less when you tip. Drivers keep 100% of your tip but less from doordash, when u tip cash they pay the driver for the deliver themselves and driver keeps the tip.

The driver never called. Never arrived. Apparently quit in the middle of delivering to me. Called customer service and received a lukewarm apology and a refund. Will never use again.

I am a student who doordashes to school and originally the delivery was long but on my second order it took 20 minutes or less and I was very impressed. 10/10 would recommend...

I just ordered and the driver or restaurant forgot my food. I basically got an incomplete order. Also just know everything is a machine talking to you. You will hardly ever get a human talking to you if you have a customer service question. This makes you feel like the company don't give a dam about you. Anyways they gave me a refund but I still had to pay a delivery charge when I reordered. This is ridiculous since I had free delivery for the previous oder. I'm so hangry right now. Just saying this never happens with postmates. 3/10/18 Report Another bad experience today with DoorDash I ordered and my driver decided to just sit on a spot for 20 min and not move and trust me it wasn't a gps issue because as soon as I texted him he started moving again. It's almost like he forgot about me. But as soon as the food got here it was cold and mushy. Again I have to say this never happens to me on postmates!

Door dash is amazing! They actually don’t give themselves enough credit. Just today, I put down ASAP as my time frame, and they said it would be at my house by 4:05pm. At 3:30pm I got a text saying my driver was approaching. She even apologized that she got lost and it took her so long. The text updates are also amazing, I can know when the driver is pulling up my driveway which is a life saver with my dogs that love to bark at the doorbell. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that the fees are sorta pricy when you can go get your own food for no fee but hey, they’ve gotta make money somehow!

How is it that the same exact food costs $8.99 through this app and it is only $5.99 through another delivery service? Their delivery fee is cheaper, too. No thanks Door Dash!

Waited for an hour. Checked my app and my order wasn’t found. Checked my bank account, money was already taken. Tried to find a phone number, can’t find it. All the support is online, there is no actual person. The more links you click, it’ll revert you back to the app. I WANDERED AROUND THE SITE (NOT THE APP) AND SAW THAT THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER. THEY DIDN’T EVEN TELL ME.

It’s a great concept, but the caliber of drivers vary greatly, which means your experience will as well. Over the years, I’ve rarely received a fully correct order within the estimated timeframe. Most of the time the order never arrives, arrives with items missing, or arrives extremely late (resulting in poor quality food). Until they are able to control the pool of drivers, services like this will continue to suffer from the “RideShare” issue. They start off great and then eventually go the way of the taxi cab.

90% off all orders has something wrong with it. It used to be every now and then, but the service continues to take a dive. The Dashers (delivery people) don’t confirm the order is right before leaving the restaurants, and there are rarely utensils, straws, or napkins included. If you order (not in app) through any restaurant that has their own delivery person, you get all of the things you would expect to come with the type of food you are ordering. (Chopsticks for Pho, Salsas for Mexican Food, etc.) Doordash hires predominantly lazy stoners who are mostly just drivers who do the very minimum. I actually started leaving minimum tips (and I’m always a 20% tipper)because I can always expect something wrong with my order, where I’ll have to use support requests for bill reductions. The app also over charges for things that wouldn’t usually be a charge in store. Fatburger for example doesn’t normally charge for a side of ranch with fries, or grilled onions on the burger. It is included upon request in store for no additional charge. Then, when they forget both of those things you paid extra for, it is infuriating! It’s a shame because a lot of my favorite restaurants are on the app. I wouldn’t recommend the app to a friend or family. Doordash, fix your s$*t or you are losing customers starting with us.
