I highly recommend that no one use this company. They are super shady. Today was my first time using this company. I placed an order for chipotle. literally about 1 min after placing my order I get a text saying my order was cancelled, no reason given. The order isn't even listed on my account. no option to reorder or to contact customer service. that's weird but I try my order again. As soon as I hit send on the 2nd order I realized I forgot an item. I tried hitting the undo button while it was processing. Nope my order goes through. I immediately hit the order help button and it asks what item I would like to add. I type out exactly what I needed and hit send. I am in queue #3. it take maybe 2 min or less to speak to someone. I explain the item I would like to add. They have me hold for awhile and come back to day it has already been accepted by the restaurant and they cant add the item. I say so it can't be changed or cancelled? silence. I aske if they can tell me why my first order was cancelled since that was part of the reason this happened in the first place. silence. the customer service agent doesn't say any thing for a long time, so long that I considered exiting the chat, but then finally tells me oh sorry your order was already picked up there is nothing we can do. After the chat agent tells me that I get a text saying that my order was picked up. I'm pretty irritated at this point because everything about this order has gone wrong up to this point and Inform the chat agent I will not be using their company again deliveries. I exit the chat. I then get a call from them, I missed it because I didn't hear my phone. They immediately call again. I answer. The rep keeps talking in circles trying to say that there is a delay in the system from when it sends the text which is all fine and good but the problem is that the restaurant is only about 1.5 miles from my house so if what the agent is saying it true they have supposedly had my food even longer than I think it ended up taking them 15 min from the time I got the text to make a 1.5 mile drive. after the driver arrives he says sorry it wasn't ready when I got there, they were still making it. What I believe happened is that they told the driver to mark it as picked up, so that I couldn't cancel the order. either way terrible customer service and shady practices. and to top it off you have to add you tip when you order not when you get your food. So you are tipping and you have no idea what kind of service you will receive. This app also has limited menu options and no where to add notes for the restaurant or driver. The driver also didn't bring any plastic utensils for the rice and beans. Overall terrible experience. terrible customer service. I will go back to using other food delivery services. At least with the other companies I can tip after seeing the service I receive.


Food delivery app that rarely delivers food

Most of the time I place an order, wait an hour, and am then refunded without getting food. No other food delivery app has this problem, or at least not this bad. DoorDash appears to have more choices but it’s an illusion of choice: many still don’t participate.

Tremendous problems of late with slow loading, frequent crashes and such. Tonight I couldn’t submit my order (multiple time out errors). But the food arrived anyway 30 minutes later. Only problem: I’d already ordered food from a competitor. They need to fix the many many quality issues with their app.

Two months ago I placed an order and had a driver blame me for his mistake,(he went to the wrong closed restaurant and asked me to cancel order or place it somewhere else, even though the restaurant he should’ve gone to was open), had my food arrive ridiculously late because of said mistake, food arrived cold, and customer service didn’t help at all. They offered a 5$ credit first, (meal wound up being 30$), then after discussing the problem for 30 minutes, upped it to 10$. I wasn’t satisfied but clearly the guy I was talking to didn’t care. I asked him to please have someone reach out to me at some point in the near future. Not only has no one reached out, but that credit? Nowhere to be found. And I’ve reached out to DoorDash maybe 8 times since the incident. No response. This is actually my second review on the App Store for the same incident. And honestly? I’ll keep posting one star until They make some kind of effort. Eventually people will realize this company is trash.

Why is it taking forever to become a dasher ???!! I got my activation kit but it’s not giving me the option to activate my account come on guys idk if it’s only me but it needs to be fixed.

Easier in app support would be nice. If we could text back support would also be nice. I get text messages but can’t text them back. I had gone to pick up food and the restaurant said they would not give it to me cause I was the second person to come pick it up. Someone was there hours earlier. So I had to delete the delivery and could put anything in for why I had to. And it looked bad on my ratings. Other than easier support. I love Door dash

Improve Your Updates

What a pain in the

The DoorDash app pales in comparison to other food delivery apps. The UI itself is nothing special and looks slapped together, and the system used for orders/updates/follow-ups needs serious improvement. Your order may be over 20 minutes late, but you’ll receive no information or updates about it unless you contact their agents directly, which is beyond ridiculous. ETA: We’ve since given DoorDash two more chances and again wound up with cold food, poor excuses, and minimal recompense. Easily the worst delivery app on the market. Look elsewhere.

Drivers sooo unbelievably unresponsive. Over a n hour late with my food. Would not recommend to anyone. After contacting an agent, all they gave me was a $5 credit after I had to buy a meal somewhere else while my driver tried to figure out where to go. Never going to use this service again.

Don’t ever. Waited 45 minutes to get food delivered from a restaurant that was closed. Accepted my payment too.
