used 4 times. The last 2, delivery time doubled after I placed the order. The last time, 10min after I placed the order it said the Driver was waiting at the restaurant. Then she disappeared. Then another driver was assigned. Then 90mins after I ordered they called to say they don’t know what happened with the delivery. The restaurant is closed at this point, so the order got cancelled. Don’t bother with the app, just use Yelp, GrubHub, or Postmates.

Unreliable and terrible customer service

Door Dash is great when it works. In particular, I love that you can track the location of the driver in the app. However, I’ve had at least instances where the app says my food has been delivered but, in fact, it never arrived. Each time the driver has been unreachable. When I’ve called customer service, I spend at least 20 minutes on the phone before getting it halfway resolved. Each time Door Dash has refunded my money but try to charge me to resubmit the order. By that point, it’s generally an hour past when my food was supposed to have arrived, I’ve had to spend a considerable amount of time and frustration in the phone just trying to get a refund, and I still don’t have my food. To have to go through that rigamaroll and then be charged to resubmit my order is just poor customer service. It would be one thing if this were an isolated occurrence but it keeps happening repeatedly. I won’t be using Door Dash again.

The app isn’t hard to maneuver your way around but I’ve only had one excellent order out of 4 horrible experiences. The drivers were great and the customer service agents were mostly kind and always offered me additional credits for the mistakes in my orders. I will not be continuing to use this app anymore but I would still recommend to anyone.

I love DoorDash! They have great customer service and you can tell that they care about their customers. Most of my deliveries have been on time and if anything goes wrong and I report the delivery/food as unsatisfactory, DoorDash takes a look into the matter and gives you the deserved money back. They are way better than all the other delivery services that don’t really care about their customers. Go with DoorDash!

This review is not out of hate or negativity. It is completely based on my personal experience and out of the unfairness that happened to me and my close friend by the company. I was a DoorDash driver for 6 months until I decided to work for them. I referred a friend of mine for a bonus. She had finished her on boarding and was approved without any problem. We have met all the requirements and done all the 200 deliveries that was expected from her ON TIME! When it was time for DoorDash to pay our bonuses, they came up with a very nonsense and completely irrelevant, out of agreement reason not to pay us. We sent them emails with proofs, screenshots and our agreements to resolve our case. We tried to reach out to their support, but none of them were able to justify and give us a legitimate answer. I personally went to their headquarters in San Francisco but they don’t even want to talk to their drivers. I was told by the building representative that I can not talk to anyone from DoorDash and I had to leave the building. Clearly it shows that they know their wrong doings and they don’t care. I want and will continue to spread what have happened to me and my friend on every social media and platform so that other people will not become their next victim.

Their service is good no issues there. However, I feel paying 4.99 for delivery, taxes and tip gets a bit expensive. I’ve paid up to $15 for just services/taxes a bit much. I rather just pickup my food.

Slow. Stop batch orders or warn us about it

Bad service. They will bulk your order with others and leave you waiting. They should give you the option to not be part of a batch order

I have been using door dash for the last 2 months until last week door dash hasnt been working contacted by bank to find out door dash has been sending $0.00 processing request. Contacted door dash and stated it was due to my address was in correct confirmed address and advised I will try and again tomorrow. Got to work tried to place an order and got and error message saying unable to process. Contacted door and they stated my account is blocked.

Great idea, great app, cold food.

Notifications are terrible / nonexistent. My order was canceled and I didn’t find out until an hour later. Thanks DoorDash
