Door dash has a service fee that's more than the delivery fee and varies from restraunt to restraunt. They should be upfront with the cost.

DO NOT USE THIS APP I HAVE HAD DOZENS OF MEALS STOLEN BY THE DRIVERS! USE UBER EATS INSTEAD NOT EVEN ONE BAD EXPERIENCE BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY CHECK THEIR DRIVERS

Overall a good app but I think it would be improved if we had an option to take off stuff we don’t like. I’m a picky eater and the special request portion isn’t always followed and it’d be nice to just be able to tic a box for no onions.

Ordered on DD last night for the first time. The app was easier to use, ordering wise than some of the others, so I went with it Everything seemed fine, the app alerted me the driver picked up my meal and was on his way... Then, the restaurant called me to tell me the order wasn’t right, they forgot a meal. They didn’t contact the driver, they called me. I asked them to contact the driver, they said (not sure if they messed up here or not) they only had my info. I tried contacting the driver through the text message, but nothing. I called DD support and was on hold long after the driver got to my house. At this point I was over it... Support said to just have the driver go back. But that seemed like a monumental hassle for him and the restaurant as it would have been 20 plus minutes and the food needed to be remade Still nothing from support... Deleting app

Flawed app and rude service

I was not able to use the password reset feature to be able to log in to the app, when I asked for assistance I was told via email to send a screenshot of my junk email folder showing nothing received. Seriously, is a millennial running your technical support? A screenshot of an empty folder showing you that I never received your password reset link??? WOW. Uninstalled.

DoorDash “partnerships” are a lie

Several restaurants in my area have put up warnings that the partnership with DoorDash is false. Don’t trust that you’ll receive your meal if you use this app. I, personally, will not do business with shady companies, and would hope you will not either.

Food is late 9 out of 10 times !!!! Food is cold cause they switch dashers all the time !!!

Delivery great, app needs help

I use DoorDash fairly often and I’ve really only got one complaint. Make the restaurant names link to their website or add the address/location! Usually we order breakfast, and I’ve found that I prefer to order a basic breakfast from the closest location, not necessarily the fastest delivery, so that the food is still warm when it gets here. There’s no way to tell unless you get out of the app and google where they’re located. It’s just frustrating because when the food arrives cold at that point it’s not the drivers fault the restaurant is 10 miles away & I would feel badly if they were suffering the consequence.

I have ordered twice from Door dash. The first time I was missing items and the food was stone cold. The second time I kept getting notifications that the driver was still on their way to the restaurant to pick up the food. This went on for about forty minutes until it said it was picked up. Again the food was cold and incorrect. Plus if you want to tip the driver you have to do it when you order. I would like to tip after I receive good service. Maybe that’s why door dash drivers don’t care if your order is correct or not. They already have your money. I will not be ordering from them again. This app is getting deleted.

I liked it until I realized it was lying to me

The app is dishonest. Several restaurants come up as having free delivery, and then once you get to your cart, it adds the full delivery fee. That’s called lying. It’s done it through several updates so it’s not a bug.
