Going out of my way to leave a terrible review – DoorDash - Food Delivery Review

Worst company ever, top to bottom, merchant and consumer side. I have no idea how they secured so many national accounts other than doing business for free for the (national) merchant and abusing/robbing their smaller merchants and customers while not vetting drivers and underpays their drivers. As a merchant I was accosted by their regional sales manager Kevin for months to use their service at a premium price. They then took it upon themselves to copy my logo and menu off my website (not to mention every other restaurant in town as well) and offer delivery even though I declined! I had no knowledge of this until I received a 1 star review on yelp for delivery! I had to contact the customer to find out how she received a delivery to which she told me DoorDash! It took many calls and finally a cease and desist from my attorney to remove my restaurant from their website. All while Kevin and the sales team was trying to justify their service and tell me that I should just pay them since my menu was “live” and customers were using it. Fast forward to being a customer and attempting to use their service I place an order for food, get live updates to where the progress is, wait an hour, driver marks as delivered but never shows or delivered! All support/contact info disappears from app after deliver and your forced into an endless support loop of FAQs that lead to no resolution. Mind you they charged my card, for a service they didn’t provide, during dinner time on the weekend with no support available. Call the merchant and they shrug their shoulders and say not our problem after we handoff to DoorDash. Don’t use this app or support this company. GrubHub/Seamless is by far the best and Uber eats a close second. GrubHub is trash top to bottom.
