UPDATED: 13Jun2017: App *STILL* bothers users for reviews. When review is chosen, the user is presented with the E-Mail application to send the review in an insecure E-Mail message. This app is poorly written, crashes constantly, the Apple Watch App never works reliably, and the notifications within this app aren't any more reliable than Donald Trump is to tell the truth. Your competitors have a true 'in' to this market: Write a RELIABLE app that doesn't piss off customers, and I'd jump ship in a bloody second. Get your crap together, Directed/Viper/AutoMate/Whoever you are. Old review: Stop having your app bug me for a review. I don't need to be asked if I'm enjoying the app when I'm trying to gain entry into my vehicle.

Installed about a year ago ! Wanted to put through real world everyday test before review ( summer , winter ) . AWESOME! Get professional install & no problems ! Installed in Hummer H2 ! Integrated into truck , if heat or air is set to on before exiting vehicle, automatically turns back on when remote started ! If temp drops low in this truck , checks with car system and turns on heated seats in the winter ! Make sure cell service is good , but have not had system fail once since install ! Worth every penny ! Cold PA nights & warm truck ! Hot summers & cool A/C truck to get into ! AWESOME ! No longer distance problem & failed key fobs ! Phone charged & you are good to go ! Thank you Directed ! Keep up excellent job !!

I just recently installed the smart start equipment in my vehicle. The app works smoothly. There is a bit of lag in communication but that is to be expected based on how the system works. I really like the ability to track the vehicle on gps

I don’t live in a rural area. Cellular reception should be good, but the car only can be accessed once in a blue moon.

Had the system installed in January 2015, and it was awesome being able to start the car from anywhere. The vendor switched cell carrier/generation a year in. Was told I need to purchase the upgraded cell unit and have it installed in my car for me to get what I paid for a year prior. That's not how you treat customers. Cancelled the service.

I wish I never bought it. It works maybe 40% of the time!!!! And each year, the subscription goes up and you have to renew it or else you can't get your doors unlocked!

The function if the app is very hit and miss! I would expect better from a paid service. I've had Directed for 3 years now and there's never any improvement. I'll be looking into using the Viper instead.
Great system with abysmal service (or lack of)

Directed/Viper has not updated this app since forever. The coolest product and app to stay connected to your car and it's security with the absolute worst support. It seems that the app has stopped working since the last update (Mar-2015).
