Not Good Deleted!

Area outage first at middnight till 7:AM on this app, Then call tech support and said they need to send technician to check my home data connection, and it’s say’s on this app “ Internet Not Connected” while i did a reset and data works fine, and they want to charge for service!!!

After setting fingerprint access several times when returning it isn’t active. Waste of time. Easier to go to cox.com and sign in there. Update: This continues to be one of the most useless apps. Touch access, when selected, only works one time. After that you have to enter ID and password. Cox cannot seem to correct/solve these simple issues. I’m happy with the service but this app and their website have serious issues in terms of consistent reliability and functionality. Mostly a waste of time and seriously annoying and frustrating.

Cox website has latest information

The app seems to be always getting data 2 days old - especially data usage. It’s misleading. When you login to the cox.com you get the latest data - data usage shows up to previous day! I deleted the app and shall use the website for now till this issue is fixed.

Half the time, when it actually does load, you can’t do anything on the app. The whole reset the modem function would work amazing if didn’t error every time. Just like you service, which is slow and I had a customer service rep try and charge me 75$ for a technician to come out because your equipment failed and I had a “wiring” issue which was causing me to not have internet when I did it. It was running and has been running ridiculous slow. Horrible horrible service.


Forwarding doesn’t work

Claims fixed forwarding of phone. That’s bull. It doesn’t work. Won’t connect to server. Appears every update destroys what previously worked.

Found out after installation that there is very little support with DVR. When at cox store sales stated that I could view recorded shows and watch online. Found out after that is not possible, also can’t even see scheduled recordings or what has recorded. When I try to schedule a recording it just says request has has been sent not confirmed. There was much more control from Verizon.

Though the agents I have contacted via this text service have been extremely considerate, I feel like Cox hires exemplary employees to deal with the mass amount of unhappy customers they have. Problems and refunds are promised yet problems are consistently not fixed and refunds are grossly under what they should be. There’s no reason anyone laying approx $170 a month for a cable tv provider should have to call or contact that provider several times a month. This greedy company is worth the service it provides!
