The app is incompatible with an IPhone 8 Plus. I have talked to Cox and Apple support. The app no longer shows 2 of the 3 phone features in settings including call forwarding. In addition you can no longer play your voicemails due to a sizing issue. The voicemails show up but the play button is off the screen so you can’t play them.

I tried to use the Cox Connect app mainly to record tv program. And it just return with “...returned with unknown error” and would not record. What a shame on Cox. Cox, please fix this!

This app doesn’t work right

I’m trying to send a new chat but it tells me to resolve the previous one first. When I try to resolve it nothing happens.

This app is poorly built. Not enough account features and information. Slow to load. Clumsy navigation. A child could have made a better app. Zero effort put into this app, like their service.

Two stars because you can actually view your data usage, find WiFi hotspots, and view your bill. Otherwise, the tv listings on this app is pointless if you can’t record or view what’s on your dvr from an app. I came from spectrum and we were able to record, modify, and delete shows from our dvr from the app. This made it easier than having to do it from the remote itself. After speaking with Cox this is something that they do not support. For being the leader in the industry, I would have expected they were up to date on these features which are standards for other companies. On another note, you can’t even power down the cable boxes by pressing on/off on your remote. You either have to manually press the power button on the box or click through settings on your remote and click 5 more times just to turn the box off.

I liked the TV channel program listings. But the app suddenly lost my “favorites” as well as being unable to tell what an HD channel is. So program listings are now useless. Back to the TV Guide app ...

Highly recommend this app have been using it for about 2 years now, make paying my bills easy , after this update 6/12/18 the service status finally started working again lol but not a big deal. Happy with my service and internet speed 8 years customer...?

Amount due never changes from $0.00

There is an issue with the linkage of the information in the Cox app and my account. For whatever reason my next payment due amount never changes from $0.00, regardless of where the calendar pay cycle is. This caused me to miss a payment date and was charged a late fee. Multiple calls and text messages to Cox techno droids have not solved the issue. Maybe this “feature” is built in to generate additional revenue thru late charges.

Problem with favorites

Getting message when looking at favorites channel tab that no favorites saved but when I look at channels I know are flagged as favorites, the switch is set to make it a favorite.
