Worst. Company. Ever!

Sales person lied to me about my plan, customer service is incompetent and I spoke to a supervisor that told me even though their sales representative lied to me they’re not going to honor what was offered to me. Data caps are ridiculous and only there to squeeze whatever money they can get out of you. This is how they treat a first time customer. Beware of this company. Absolutely awful.


Billing Confusion

Good Morning! I was told last week that my bill would drop down to $344. And would be reflected on this payment I just made. So I called today & spoke w/Sonny, he stated the statement would change in the next 10min-15min & I could make my payment then. The payment was never reduced to $344. Sonny also stated that the lady(forgot her name) I spoke to last week didn’t complete the process but he would do it for her. So I called back spoke w/an awesome rep named Julie. She was able to reduce my bill to like $335ish but needed the loyalty department to do something. She was unable to complete the full process without another department. She stated that my payment could not be reduced because I had 1 more NBA payment of $46ish. Which is cool because I did enjoy the services & should pay for them. Cool no problem. Everyone is telling me something different. I’m trying to get my bill out of the $400s. I can no longer afford it. Please someone get my bill down. It’s cool whatever department wants to do this. I changed my payment method and they decided to stop charging my account even though I’ve always had automatic payments set up. How does that make any sense. Super annoying just to add charges I’m sure.

Changed my speed after signed up. Rep promises one thing , “high speed fiber 500mb upload 500 download”. Now it’s 10up 500 down. Their installers tore up my brand new sod lawn with their trenching machine leaving deep ruts. They refuse to pay to fix, even though their evaluation initially was an acknowledgment that their subcontractor screwed it up.Be prepared to spend hours on the phone or by text trying to get help, but get nothing but lip service and broken promises. Beyond useless and willing to do the right thing. They do not care. Highly recommend using someone else

Due to the dramatic price increases over the 18 years of being a Cox customer. I unfortunately feel I’m being forced to look elsewhere for service. When you can give some people service for a tenth of the price I’m being forced to pay I feel as though you overcharge some customers to pay for the service you provide others at discount rates. I have tried numerous times to have my bill lowered but it seems that no one wants to work for my business.
