App is great

XweAponX

It’s the service that’s terrible In the last three months I’ve had 6 AUP complaints for watching video through a client on my iPhone that I have been using for four years Suddenly, they are now accusing me of stealing their movies, when all I am doing is simply watching them, sometimes through Amazon prime even. I’ve had them complain about theft after I’ve watched Game of Thrones on the HBO app, after watching Westworld on the same, and after binge watching a TV show on Amazon prime. This app is great, it’s the best app they’ve ever made. But in the last year their service has gotten so bad that I will be switching to a new broadband provider the moment something decent is made available in this area. Which is difficult because they have a monopoly on cable service in this area

The only useful feature stopped working

M'Baku Beacoup

Data usage meter stopped working and customer service was completely USELESS.

Works fine, mostly . . .

Weather_Watcher_55467

Another complaint . . . If you try to record a show that's already started, it won't work, just sends back an error message - "Your request to save recording for program: 'Program Name, Channel, Time' returned with the status: An unknown response was received." . . . Works fine if the show hasn't started, but this is pretty useless. Lowering my rating some. Only thing not working for me is the TV status. It can't tell if it's online or not. Doesn't really matter I guess, since you can tell if it's working or not when you go to watch something.

1 star for data caps and no tranparency

Sk_illed

Cox: “you went over your data cap” Me: “how is that possible???” Cox “no idea, but you owe us $100 in fees” Oh and I received the 85%, 100% emails at the same time and immediately unplugged the modem. Since their system is 24hrs delayed, they claim I used 135% of the data cap.

Doesn’t show disconnection

drgcon

A Cox employee recommended I get the app to have updates on my recent outage. The app shows my internet is connected and there is no outage in my area, but my internet line is currently disconnected.

Buggy app

Karlastar83SD

If the app wasn’t so buggy and worked quicker, it would be great.

OMG! It’s just that horrible!

Marcus S-P

Their service is horrible. Their customer service is horrible. And their lines are horrible. DO NOT get their internet service. You can pay for any package you want and obtain the fastest and latest router possible, your internet will still fail and be splotchy. They will see that your internet fails often. Then they will tell you that since you don’t have Fios in your neighborhood that there is nothing that you can do about it. They truly have you by the short and curlys if you don’t have any other choice.

Works great

Does Work!!! No really!!

The app loads, I can see my bill, my usage, devices, etc. Everything seems to work. No thrills and the UI is a bit bare but whatever.. Don't see myself using this very often as I don't normally have to contact customer service or check my account. If I do need to I'll just use this instead of the website for sure.

Cox is awful

dddddddddd23

Drop them like a bad habit of you are still a customer. Truly the pits as far as getting service calls. Customer support is abysmal.
