SELPHY Issues

Finally got around to onboxing the SELPHY printer from Christmas last year to print pictures for Christmas this year and I'm having a really hard time figuring out how to get the pictures to print without being cut off or with huge borders on the sides. Hope I can return it if I can't figure it out. If a developer is reading this and has any guidance, would appreciate some help.

I was skeptical at first because it’s hard to find a decent product at decent pricing. I’ve always used the brand with two letters and now they’re sitting in boxes. Fingers crossed this will last a bit. Easy set up using my I phone no pc needed. Just what I was looking for.

Hey guys. Needs an update to support the CP1300. It works with it, but I believe other functions are not available. Otherwise, pretty good and love the convenience of the printer. Vic

The only thing this printer prints is picture -or anything that you have saved in your photos if you need documents printed it’s gone say no air printers found and it’s just depressing- Why put something out there that’s so fkn difficult to use
It need more option setting for print

This app had not much add option setting for cp1300 selphy printer, it don’t show landscape and portrait print and also print style like the new printer model have screen that can select any style on photo on cp1300 that cool but not on canon selphy app it been old software nothing change look bored looks. I have been look a style print photo like pic stitch any layout that I want on canon selphy app on it please and start looks new canon selphy apps it time improve style please
Sporadic functionality

Worked for awhile with Selphy then connected another Canon printer TS9120 and it has since crashed. Multiple restarts of my phone and SelphyCP1200 do not fix it. I can’t see either printer on network even though both say they are connected. Now I cannot print to either. What is the point of wireless setups that should be easy if they don’t work. Also I should be able to hard line the TS9120 AND print wirelessly from my phone or computer if it is connected to a network. Very disappointed in the app to control these devices.
No way to adjust print quality

I just got a canon G4200 and this app works well for printing photos from my iPhone. The only problem is that the photos from my phone look muted, especially black areas and unfortunately there is no way to adjust the output quality within the app like you can on your computer. Clicking the support button in the App Store is also a waste of time.
