Never works!

Dog Broth

I hate this app and I hate this printer. I’ve tried everything; restarted my phone; deleted the app and reinstalled it; performed the LAN setup on my printer multiple times, and something always goes wrong. The latest was my phone couldn’t get the registration info for the printer, even though I had just finished the setup and they were connected! I can’t print, I can’t scan, and I can’t copy. I have a useless printer that functions perfectly as a paperweight. I will never recommend a Canon Pixma to ANYBODY!!

Don’t update!

Remmy212

I WAS able to use this app with my pixma mg5220 printer and now after update the app does not detect my printer!!! WTH!?!?

Why canon???????

leah maybry

I tried to like a millions of times but it does’t work

Terrible app for a terrible printer.

Longidude latidude

This printer prints something every so often, but mostly it can’t communicate with my phone, or thinks it’s busy, or just generally does not work. Printing from my laptop is no better so it’s hard to say if it’s the app or the printer or both.

Unwanted Cropping

Rod496

The app functionality is fine. The problem I’ve run into is that when printing 4x6 photos from my iPhone 7 on my PIXMA iP8720, the pictures are arbitrarily cropped, ruining the pictures (and countless sheets of photo paper while troubleshooting) making this app rather unusable in its current state. Canon, please address this bug in a future release. Until then, I would not bother with the app if you have a similar setup as mine.

This App is Awful

Sulemaa

It doesn’t connect to my printer which I have set up in the past and when it is registered it won’t connect to it wirelessly which is the only purpose of this app. I’m incredibly disappointed.

Canon Selphy

Don231

Doesn’t work with the Selphy 1300. The printer name that comes up on the network starts out CP1300 not Canon. There seems to be no way to change this. The software looks for the Canon prefix.

Well...

softballgirl0216

I can’t crop and size so I have to put it in my gallery and screenshot it to get it small and go thru all this other mess to size it ? it’s rediculous

Update for iPhone X
