Great support for earlier printer

I have an older MX-340 printer that this app has registered. Earlier versions only let me print 4x6, but this version lets me print letter. This is great for those document photos that I create in certain circumstances. Not looking for bells and whistles - this app dar exceeds my expectations for legacy product support. I don’t need to buy a new printer to print from my iPhone. Way to go Canon!!!
Great Printer and App

So I've had the Selphy 1200 printer for about 1 year and always printed direct from my PC to the printer. Tonight I connected via Wifi and printed from my iPad to the Selphy 1200 in a matter of minutes. Excellent. Highly recommended.

If you just want to print something regardless of size, this app is for you. Let’s hope the app developers come up wt a way to resize, locate, flip, etc. these have become very basic functions that this app keeps ignoring. It’s disappointing since it came up as the standard printing app for my Pixma. Now I’d like to get all that ink back...

Connected immediately via WiFi on both iPhone 8 and iPad Air without issues. Prints very good from both. Nice app but can use some better functionality options. Happy with it otherwise!!
Cannon print app?

This app is so amazingly bad I can not believe it. Honestly I would rather have an HP printer as their app in much more intuitive but it doesn't look like it's from 2009 app UI. It's sad how all of cannons app look like there mentioned for the second ever iPhone. Honestly fix all the bugs. Update the UI to look more 2017/18 and please add more features and allow people to print from their phones without being on the printer network. I mean really there are printers that actually allow you to print on an alternate WiFi network not being the printer network. I mean cannon printer are way behind where they should be. But I have a cannon anyway. The least you should do is update app UI and feature. Release a software update for your printers and allow users to print without using the printer WiFi. Step up and take responsibility for what people are saying.

This app can’t do the most basic printer task: Indicate how much ink is left. Meanwhile the app sends you to their web site for most other operations. Waste. Of. Time.
Worst app for printing ever!
