Great Customer Service

Besides for an occasional slip up (wrong charge or late concierge), this app has been a lifesaver. The customer service is superb, with the office following up numerous times after I reported a lost item (I later found it on my own). Smaller pickup windows would be appreciated but other than that, fantastic.

Too Expensive & Poor Service

This is the 3rd time they’ve gone up on their price per pound since I’ve been using them and now it’s just completely unreasonable. Especially when half the time things are folded inside out or just thrown in a bag.


Poor service, charged without cleaning

I sent my order in the Cleanly issued/labeled bags early this week, ensuring that the hang and dry, dry cleaning, etc were in their proper pockets. Tonight, 4 days later, with a flight in 12 hours, I’m notified that my order wasn’t processed and that my clothes haven’t been cleaned because they didn’t know what to hang dry, etc— but remember, everything was sent away in Cleanly marked bags. I asked that the clothes be sent back (dirty) so that I would at least have them for my trip. Clothes weren’t returned, but I was charged! $159 for NOT cleaning or returning my clothes. No urgency to resolve the issue and no offer to comp for the inconvenience.

Awful! Don’t waste your money or time

I had about 60-70 dollars worth laundry picked up by cleanly. Before they picked up my laundry and i scheduled the pick up, i was proactive to make sure i had everything i needed for the first pick up (bag, etc). Their robot helping chat in their app told me not to worry but that they will give me a bag and wait for me to put everything in it for my first time. When the guy came he expected me to have my bag already and was irritated that i didn’t have one and that he had to wait for me to put everything in the spare he so happened to have. After they delivered it back same day later that night, I opened the bag and everything was folded nicely in plastic. It wasn’t until I opened the plastic to see my clothes were still wet and dirty. My white comforter alone had multiple dirt stains that I could literally scratch off with my thumb (noting that it wasn’t a baked in stain that they couldn’t get out). I contacted help in the app but the robot is so bad on this app they couldn’t help me so I emailed the help email provided with picture and video my “clean” laundry. They responded quickly but only offered to rewash everything again but I wasn’t going to sleep on a dirty comforter so I ended up REWASHING everything I had sent to them to clean and was up all night doing this. After I told the customer rep that he offered 15% off my next service which I had already told him I will not be a repeat customer after this. I finally got to speak with a supervisor who clearly didn’t read the background on the situation bc she offered to have my clothes sent back out. After all that she said she credited my account so I can use that balance on my next cleaning again showing that she didn’t care for my claim as I had already told her subordinate that I won’t be a returning customer. DO NOT USE THIS AWFUL SERVICE!!!!!


Damaged items, unacceptable customer service

I would give 0 starts if I could. I had things returned that were damaged and the customer service people told me it was my fault. Then all my hang dry items were returned wet. Then they didn’t return my clothing bag that I gave them my clothes in. The person I spoke to blame this all on me. This service is basically a scam. Beware!


They need a new laundry partner!!!

They lose a piece of clothing every time I send an order out and offer nothing. Also my clothes come back dirty a lot of the time. Pick up and drop off is always on time though.

Absolutely no way they put soap on any laundered shirt. Dirt on every single shirt I got back? 12 shirts in total. No way everyone of them had unrecoverable dirt on them? Their business button downs, I work on an office not outside.


Not worth it

Beware of Cleanly. I used their services a total of 4 times, and had my order messed up twice. One order included a pair of someone else’s panties with all of my delicate...which is gross. Then, on another order, they stained a towel of mine pink. I was never offered a refund of my money, just a $10 credit because of the underwear mishap and a “complimentary recleaning” of my towel. Unacceptable.
