Worst Laundry Experience

During the pandemic, I paid for multiple weeks of laundry to be washed - it was marked “delivered” even though there was no evidence anyone used the web enabled intercom. These clothes have still not been located or returned by Cleanly. Very disappointed.

If you need laundry done for you because of the PANDEMIC do NOT use this service. Shame on them. Charged an insane amount for clothes to be returned WET and WRINKLED. Really every employee should be ashamed


My laundry was lost and nobody is answering my messages!!

First time around, this went great. On use #2, the pickup was on time and then everything fell apart. No updates. Drop-off time comes and goes, 4 hours later I get a text asking to describe my items, no other info or responses to my response. Turns out my stuff is LOST. it took SO much effort to get this info out of anyone. I'm just some regular schmuck, what's worse is this happened with a Physician's scrubs and her family's laundry near me in NYC (see her twitter pleas, @uche_blackstock)! at least communicate when this happens PLEASE....

It is nearly impossible to get through to a real human when you have a problem. And their service reps are unhelpful, to put it generously.

They lost my laundry, and they haven’t found it. This is during a national health emergency and thy are dealing with personal belongings. I’ve been emailing 3 times a day without and answer. I sent a tweet to Mr. Harari (Cofounder) but nothing happened. Still no answer. Biggest mistake choosing this app


SCAM—UPCHARGING DURING COVID-19

Like others here, it takes a lot for me to write a negative review. But ***AVOID*** this overpriced and unreliable service even during COVID-19. Wait for your laundromat to become available, even if there’s a wait. My first time using Cleanly, I received someone else’s laundry and it took a week to get my own bag back. Second time, I’m the fool. They picked my laundry up on a Tues and I scheduled a Thurs AM return. They texted minutes before my delivery time, moving it to Friday night. At 8 PM on Friday, I am missing my hang dry items. I had to report a missing bag to get a second delivery window of Sat between 4-6:30. They deliver my items at 9 PM, still wet. The worst part is they charged me $90 for what I’d pay $15 for at my laundromat and didn’t offer even a slight discount to this existing, unbelievably mishandled order. I believe they’re up-charging people during this vulnerable time. This is a scam. I will come and do your laundry instead. DO NOT USE.


They lost majority of clothes and don’t respond back for days

Have used 4 laundry apps and dozens of laundromats in nyc - this is by far the worst one - why? Their service, technology, staff and logistics are of poor quality and obviously under supported by those at the top cashing in for the 2-3X charge vs your local laundromat - also it’s a pandemic why doesn’t your delivery people were gloves or a mask? I’m nervous about virus risk exposure due to their lackluster experience - please watch out - oh yeah and they delayed my last order daily for over a week - had to keep changing my work schedule - then they lost it - and found it (apparently) - and then my delivery is delayed for multiple days ....or unknown tbd - I know it’s hard out there but try to use your nice clean trustworthy local laundry vs these customer rip off specialists

I had them pick up two bags of clothes and of the two bags they brought back only one was mine. It took them 3 days to pick up the other persons laundry and two separate emails to customer service to get them to respond - and they have no idea where my clothes are. They will not talk to you on the phone and are bad at responding to follow up emails. Do not use.
