Truly awful experience

Cannot change seats after it prompts me to. Would not take my covid rapid test. I tried uploading 3 times. They didn’t even ask for it at the counter. What a joke.


BA does not realize your using app

Travel documents are a new concern for all given COVID. BA does not make this as simple as some of their competitors In addition, while on the app with my iPhone, at the top is the option to open the app. Button to do so does nothing. Had to check I was actually in the app which I was Needs to be used by those that developed it


Glitchy & unreliable price points

The app is handy for finding cheap flights but prices listed at the top for a given day are often different when you click on the day, and the app is too prone to errors. For example, for the last week I’ve been getting a ‘something went wrong. Try again later’ message. Unimpressed.


Dated and Slow

Beyond Useless

I have tried to use the app to check in on both legs of a round trip; both times it failed to let me complete the process. I was able to check in using other means (phone and website), so the fault is entirely with the app. It’s so bad that, while using the app, the app keeps suggesting that I open the app. It doesn’t even recognize itself. It’s “beyond useless”, because BA keep pushing you to use it and all it does is waste your time. Deleted.


Needs to have gate numbers!

Hard to find gate numbers at LHR. The app should have that info so you don’t have to look at the HUGE flight status board and try to find your flight and gate.


No support for Apple wallet

Standard app but missing one thing ALL other airlines provide - ability to save membership card to Apple wallet. Stuck about 10 years out of date. Shame.

Confusing shifting between app and web pages. Sites sometimes unavailable. Generally a poor user experience

BA is probably the worst airline right now amongst its peers in one world. I am their good member for years but have been treated worse than a ryanair passenger by their ground staff and crew. I have decided to leave them now anyway so good riddance!
