Get it together anthem! For how much people pay for their health insurance you should be able to afford a decent person to develop an app.
No longer works

When trying to login you just get a prompt to call an 800 number during the weekday. Useless app. Can’t find a doctor, see coverage or anything else.
No log in

I downloaded the app and tried to register. It kept telling me to call the number so I decided to try my computer instead. The website worked fine and let me register no probably. I figured I’d try the app again with a log in now and it won’t let me sign in now still telling me to call the number. Not helpful at all! The website isn’t much better but you can actually sign in on there.

There’s a bug currently. It keeps looping from using your finger to please call. It’s been happening since Friday 6/1.
Customer service chat does not work on IPhone 7

Tap into the text entry field and start typing and as soon as the customer service rep types and a speech bubble appears for him/her, I lose focus on the text entry field and my input keyboard is dismissed. Clicking back into the text entry field does not bring the keyboard back up and once I click into the text field, I cannot click outside of it. Pathetic that an app for a major insurance carrier is this bad, and that’s coming from a ux design professional of 20+ years.
Freezes and doesn’t work

I was hoping the reviews were old and that the fact this app was being hyped up meant they addressed all the bugs. It doesn’t allow searching for in network doctors, or managing my account, but freezes up and forces me to sign in over and over.
Only good for digital copy of benefit card

Accessing anthem on a mobile device through either a smart phone browser or the app is both useless and pointless. Neither of them grant you the access that looking at it from a computer browser would. You cannot check your claims or HSA balance without a computer. The only literal benefit to this app is that if you happened to be a new patient somewhere and forgot your card, you can access a digital copy of the front and back of it.
What’s up with this app?!

You could have so much more in this app. Why can’t we see our claims?! Update this basic app for the customers.
won't let me past security questions

Come on , this is my 10th time trying to register my card, i get to the security questions then it pops up something went wrong, well yeah it's my 10th trying and they still can't get it right! i'm sure you get paid good money to run the app, FOR THE LOVE OF HEALTH INSURANCE "GET IT RIGHT"!!!! i pay too much for insurance not to be able to use a app- i would give NO stars if i could
