Completely worthless app

This app actually used to be slightly useful for reviewing EOB’s. Now after the last update, I no longer have the ability to see claims or explanation of benefits. Called tech support and they said that EOB’s can only be reviewed on a computer now, no longer on the app. The ‘find a doctor’ function has never worked. No doctors in ANY city that I queried. Logging in with Touch ID has always been a joke, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. There is really no other useful functionality so I will be deleting this app. The next update needs to be a total rewrite of the code.

App has minimal features and those it has don’t work. I can’t view my ID card or anything else. The app needs to let us see our individual and family deductible and how much is net/remaining and also view recent claims. It should also let us see our benefits and EOB’s. The app is worthless. About all you can do is try to search for a doctor and that doesn’t even show you who all is available.

This app used to be very helpful, but not it terrible! Why does the cost feature not work anymore? It used to be that there was an estimate my cost put, now that’s gone and what’s left doesn’t even work! Why would you get rid of probably the best feature in the app!!

if I forget my card it’s right there. Anthem BCBS has been so good at answering my messages when I have a question and my phone calls. they’ve even called me to check in on my health. THANK YOU BCBS!

NOTHING ever works EXCEPT the constantly appearing ERROR MESSAGE that says something's not working and to CALL THEM BY PHONE. Of course you can only call during certain hours and they don't help anyways. You wait literally hours and then they hang up without even talking to a human ! Add to that I had my tongue surgically removed from Cancer and can barely speak at all ! Then if you try to email them through the app the subject drop down menu won't work so you CANNOT even send an email question ! Bill paying feature was ok for a couple months but last week it said $79 under Pay Bill. I checked again a few days later and now it says NO BILL DUE ? I never made a payment so why did it change suddenly ? Do I owe $79 or not ??? Of course I can't get in contact to ASK THEM because the email portion of the app doesn't work ! This is what happens when you have a monopoly situation. They don't care because they don't have to ! There's no other competitors so you get ZERO QUALITY for the incredibly rediculous high premiums. And in Connecticut their rates just INCREASED 31.7 % for 2018 ! IS THIS A CRUEL JOKE ? ! DONT WASTE TIME WITH THIS USELESS APP. Use the desktop website. It's not great either but better than this virtually USELESS app that does nothing more than take up your iPhone storage space and frustrate users. WISH I COULD RATE IT ZERO. It's obvious they really don't care. They don't have to ! What choice do we have ? This app is rediculous and 95% of the functions don't work. Bad enough being so sick and then dealing with more frustration from a terrible app. Can't believe anyone would give it a good rating ? VERY BAD APP. An $1,000 PER MONTH premium doesn't get you much these days. Don't waste your time on this app. They should be Ashamed and make at least some effort to improve their app. A 5 year old kid could create a better app than this. I seriously doubt it's SECURE either. Who knows if our confidential info is being stolen ? Probably is ! I rarely give a bad rating but people should know how horrible this is. BEWARE and don't expect much from this app.

Had nothing but problems with this app. Numerous something isn’t working messages, emails unable to send, basically every function is non-functioning. I couldn’t even get the search for physician function to work properly. According to this app’s search results, there are ZERO in-network doctors, hospitals, and clinics in my metropolitan area of 200,000 people. I don’t see how this was even allowed to be released to the public. Nothing works.

Seriously, Anthem, it’s not hard to do basic functionality testing before you release updates to your premier application. TouchID is broken, user/password is broken, can’t get claims info, and your tech support can’t tell me when you expect to fix it. Admit the mistake, roll back to the previous version, and try again. Fail.


How do they get away with calling this an App?

Wow, I’ve used some bad apps before but this one takes the cake! First of all it has VERY limited functionality, and is missing key health insurance functionality like “My Coverages” and “Estimate cost”. It has a feature “Find a doctor” but searches often result in 0 doctors even though many doctors actually exist in the given area and discipline.
