I like the app overall but they had a deal if I referred 4 friends I’d get 400$ but it hasn’t arrived. Not even the 100$ deal. What’s going on?

I keep writing to app support and I’ve confirmed the information on both attempts and i have not heard anything back so that i can use the app. I just need help either resetting my security questions and password. Any assistance would be great.

Have my account connected, it never rounded up and transferred any change. I’m now trying to close the account and app doesn’t allow. Horrible.

Acorns has helped me a lot over the years. I’ve used it as a separate fundraising account for myself when I need to make a large purchase and save up.

Too slow to get me tax documents

Waiting until March 15th to get my tax documents. Normally I have filed and received my return before the ides of March. Figure out how get tax docs out more timely. It is a fairly seamless painless way to accumulate a nest egg.

Round ups don't work in app

I've had this app since 2020 and I've noticed the round up feature stopped working and there is no longer a way to even manually invest your round ups. I'll be closing out my account soon and moving my money to my TD Ameritrade account.

Very pushy. Not worth it for small investing.

Opened an acorns account last month. I’ve also had Robinhood and a couple other brokerages. To me it seems like a much more complicated interface especially with tracking your investments. I’m sure it’s fine if you are investing large amounts of money. But if it’s just your spare change they will be making more money on you than you will make with other brokerages because of their 1$ a month 12$ a year charges for the cheapest account. So I tried to close my account and they made it extremely difficult to close an account. Once I closed the account you can’t even open the app without them forcing you to open a new account. Very pushy. Not worth it for small investors.
