Referral bonus

The referral bonus is a scam I was required to have 5 referrals for $600. I had all my referrals in before the deadline date and made sure that all my referrals made a 1 time investment because I sent all of them $10 to make sure they did it, what acorn did was waited til the deadline date was over to process my referrals then I wrote a email about it they responded saying the system was backed up by all the entries amd that they were dealing with the problem but managed to complete 3 of my referrals that same day then when I wrote a email again about it they responded basically telling me the requirements for the referrals to be completed which I knew and made sure my ppl invested now it’s a month later an they just now completed the other 2 referrals so o called those 2 ppl to see if they did anything to they account recently and they responded with a no so acorn waited til the date was past due to complete all the referrals and that’s how I didn’t get my bonus because of them

Easy to use and I’m seeing great returns. Make setting straight forward: easy to change investment amount weekly, easy to withdraw, and simplified the need to do research with there three types of investment categories. I’ve been using for almost a year and have seen my overall investment return of 9%.

App constantly forces ads for referring friends and making saving accounts for children. I don’t have friends and I can’t have kids, stop forcing these ads and constantly reminding me. They also do not provide a way to turn these notifications off without turning all notifications for the app off.
No feedback on account set up

I was excited to use acorns, I set my account all up but was not sent the 2 small amounts to verify my account to my bank account. I reached out to acorns support, someone did reply to my initial email asking me for some more information, which I then provided. I have not received any sort of communication back and now on day 7. I wish I could start investing but since my account is not fully set up I cannot.
Impossible to cancel subscription

Worse financial app out here. I have tried everything to cancel my subscription and have received confirmations. Then the next month they still take it out of my account. Go through the process again and all of a sudden the app is experiencing difficulties. Something seems crooked here.
Easiest, most painless way to invest

I’ve had Acorns for over 2 years now, and it’s so easy to use and save that sometimes I even forget I have it! You can set it up to automatically deduct from your bank account and deposit to your Acorns account for as much or as little as you want, as often (or not) as you want! You can even pause your deposits anytime you need to, or set it to automatically pause when your bank account gets below a certain amount. AND you can withdraw whenever you want (I don’t recommend doing that often for tax purposes, but I’ve had to do it twice now and it didn’t affect anything negatively), and it typically takes about 3-5 days to deposit to your bank account. I can’t say enough good things about this app, and I rarely take the time to post reviews unless I really think it’s important. GREAT INVESTMENT APP FOR STARTERS!!!!!

They refuse to give you access to your own money with the visa. Excuse after excuse why you can’t be verified… even though they’ll take your money.

Lol. This app is a scam. Never turned a profit. Pumped loads of money into it and only lost money. What a joke. Stay away.
