Acorns is a great idea, easy way to save for the future. But they are purposefully not forthright with investment strategies and the customer support is abhorrent.

For the last 2 months i habe try so many time to cancel my account and it will Not let me do so. I have unlinked my bank account and it tells me that i still Need to pay my monthly fee even tho i yave try to cancel it all. I have tries customer service and nothing happens.. think twice about using this app

I kept seeing 5$ charge and a 3$ charge. I thought it was my husbands account at first but he told me he had already deleted his account. That is what prompted me to log into my old account to find I was paying for a family subscription that I don’t even know what for…… The whole time I thought I had signed up for a monthly deposit to save/invest with ( I didn’t complete the setup I thought ). It was sad to see that I was just paying for … well nothing. Wasn’t very set up friendly….

I had an issue with a mobile deposit with another bank and I deposited my check through Acorns and somehow it went through on both banks so my account was locked for almost a month and when I finally got it unlocked I got an email saying I needed to fund my account the difference of 30 some dollars or my account would be closed in three days. I just think that’s a very bad way to do business when I had no control over it and was making every effort to keep it open and correct the problem.

This is the best investing app of all the ones I use. Great for first time investors!!!
